cost is not a factor as the exchange rate is still pretty good. I wont be going overnight so dont need the "luxury" of a sleeper train. All in all I get the impression that TLK and IR are close to the same, I'll just take which ever one is available at the time that Im leaving.

so TLK is like "pospiesny"? did the "TLK" brand replace "pospiesny"? cause I dont see "pospiesny" listed anywhere on pkp.pl

cause I remember the seats on pospiesny not being too shabby, my ass didnt feel like a pin cusion

and you guys are saying that IR have hard plastic seats?

here is the odd thing, InterRegio is the one that is like 20zl less expensive and the travel time is like 30mins shorter too

plus there are hardly any countries that require a visa to come to canada

Asian countries of course due to the high amount of refugees from that area, but EU dont require a visa (except Czech Republic; still require a visa)

I'm looking at some sort of certification course that I can take in Canada to teah english in Poland. I'm Polish-Canadian, fluent in both languages just a bit rusty at times when it comes to Polish grammar, born in Poland but have been in Canada for 20years. I just came back from Poland after getting married there , been there 3 times before and would love to move back there. Can anyone recommend a course that I can take in Canada that will be recognized/accepted in Poland.

Note: I have a 3yr canadian college diploma in business administration - HR, unfortunately not a degree

I'm new to this forum, stumbled upon it while searching about "moving back to Poland" in google.

a lil' background..

I was born in bielawa, poland (1hr from Wroclaw) in '84, moved to Mississauga, ON, Canada in '90 with my parents and brother, been here ever since.

I've been to Poland 3 times

94 - visit
99 - my dad's funeral
08 - to meet my wife's family and go with my wife to pick up her Canadian PR papers

and going again this July for my (church) wedding :P

I love Canada, the attractions, the people, lot of stuff, but my heart has always been in Poland.

I met my wife here in canada while she was here on visit 2yrs ago. We had a civil wedding, been married 1yr. which brings us to present day.

My wife really misses Poland as she has a huge family back home, I on the other hand have a small family in Poland but still bigger then what I have here (mom and brother). I've had numerous friends here in canada that have been here a couple years, some 20+ yrs and decided to move back to Canada. The economy in Canada is ok, but my week consists of work, sleep, and repeat. I've been told that even though Poland's economy is less then perfect, it's more laid back then Canada (not all work and no play).

I graduated from college with an advanced diploma in business administration-human resources, but currently work as a tech support agent at a help deks for one of Canada's biggest banks.

I've been reading about jobs in Poland, and the "simple life" intrigued me, teach english, come home and still have time have some free time to travel a bit, sight see, etc.

now down to my question...

In Canada there are 2 post secondary systems, universities & colleges. Colleges run 2-3yrs and you graduate with a diploma, with universities are 4+ yrs and you graduate with a degree/bachelors/masters.

I only have a diploma and wouldnt mind teaching english in Poland for a bit until I find some other job where English is an asset, as its practically my native tongue (20yrs) but everywhere I look it says that a bachelor's degree is required, is that true? or will diploma be viewed the same way?

I just want my wife to be happy, and my paper pushing job that I currently have is killing my spirits. not to mention the $1000+ plane ticket to Poland is a pain in the ass.

What do you guys think? Is there a chance for this 24yr old newlywed in Poland?

I alos havent ruled out another EU country as the plane ticket to Poland will be a lot cheaper then from Canada
