Quick glance at Wiki would tell you otherwise, but it proves an even earlier point mentioned here, you do have the math skills of the community collage student, don't you? I remember seeing a program on CNN criticizing various health care systems around the globe and comparing them to US. Even the socialized health system of Canada (which was heavily criticized and where it was emphasized that you have to wait for the procedures for weeks on end) have a higher then you lifespan. You only repeat what you hear on TV but don't bother to check the facts, not everything that's said on TV can be taken at face value.

This shield was nothing but a pipe dream intended just as the first one “Star Wars” was, to get the concessions from Russia. Bush administration was too stupid to come up with something more original. I'm not even sure if Russians got fooled again and got on board with them over Iran issue. My guess they are doing exactly what Americans are, they are lying. They will promise one thing and wait them out, America is almost broke, how much longer can they last? Russia don't want you in their back yard, simple as that.

It's good there's no missile defence, it would have never been beneficial to us anyway. I hope that Polish politicians learn a hard lesson from this, never to trust what Americans are saying or promising you, or you risk alienating immediate neighbours and constituents. You look like a regular brown nosers with their tongues out ready for action. It will never help you to rub shoulders with the Yanks in a long run, and your own constituents might have a little more respect for you. Lookout for Number one first and your own people might start having some respect for you instead of contempt for being Americas lapdogs..
