Europe has been at war almost nonstop for centuries - hundreds of wars, thousands of conflicts. It's not an opinion, it's their history.

Since the fall of the Roman Empire (around 476 AD):
Historians estimate 200-300 major wars in Europe.

If you include smaller conflicts, civil wars, border wars, religious wars, dynastic wars, etc., the number jumps to well over 1,000 armed conflicts.

Between 1500 and 1900 alone, Europe averaged a major war roughly every 2-3 years somewhere on the continent.

Some famous categories:

Roman civil wars

Medieval feudal wars

Crusades (many fought in and launched from Europe)

Religious wars (Catholic vs Protestant)

Dynastic wars

Napoleonic Wars

World War I

World War II

Balkan wars (1990s)

Ukraine conflict (ongoing, involving Europe directly)
