Hmmm what can i say?!
sth about polish people and good behoviour: polish language do not demand polite words in many cases.
U have to just say/ask sentecne in proper way and/or with good intonation.
If people use polite words they use slang or/and shortcuts of the proper words.
example of the phone call:
-Siemka.(slang;jak sie masz; How are u)
-Cze. (shortcut; czesc; Hi)
-Co slychać/jak leci. (idiom;expression; literacy: What sound/how its flight;
How u do/feel etc)
-A wporzo/ok. (shortcut; w porzadku/jest ok; literacy: in order; im ok/its ok etc)
-Sluchaj, czy moglbys mi pozyczyc notatki, wpadne wieczorem. (Literacy:Listen,can u borrow me notes, ill drop in in the evening)
-Nie ma sprawy. (literacy: There is no case; Ok, thats no problem)
-Ok dzieki. Narka. (slang; dziekuje;narazie; thanks. see u later)

Now sth about poeple im working with, brits.
I cannot complain but in some cases, YES!!!
Language, language and one more time language!!! Everyone is swearing all the time and do not bother that they will be punished for that by their managers.

Its just a warning.
many times i saw someone that belched in a presence of a customers. And the louder and longer its last the more fun. Ofcourse customers unhapy from that behaviour, walk away and i dont have to say how they looked at the "customer assistant"!!!.

I never thought that people can behave like that.
Yes, good manners they have. Thnk u, please etc but what if someone is asking me few times 'how r u' within an hour?!
So how i must feel when i here those words, only God knows how many times, within 9 hours.
I dont mind if someone ask me about my health/day etc but lots of brits are over-using polite words.
Once one woman asked why they are asking how u feel/ are u ok, etc. Do they really want to know that, care about someone.

Answer was shocking!!!
Automatic use!!! nothing else. Who cares how u feel, if your aunt just died its just "automatic use" part of culture.

I gave only some examples but everyone is diferent.
It doesnt mean that if one person is wonderful or extremly rude the other XX milions is the same in whole Britain/Poland.
