Life / Why is circumcision not practiced in Poland? [701]

It's no wonder why so many Polish women prefer American men.

The most "American women" I know, would do it with a dog, if it drove a 60K car...

History / So called "inconvenient parts" of Polish history - what do you think? [157]

There were no signing-up to being German.

- Sadly, even first paragraph of Wikipedia says otherwise. Or have you heard it from the "usual source of yours". The nameless british solder, who contrary to what his british gov. openly manifested, fought for Polish independence? The same one who reported Waffen SS corp being full of Polish solders?

Name the one who pays you to write all this nonsense with manic stubbornness's.

british gov. openly manifested

- Correction. British gov. never openly manifested not supporting Poland, or not supporting Poland's independence. "Just smile and keep waving" when you need them and back stab them when you don't. Typical anglo-saxon school.

History / So called "inconvenient parts" of Polish history - what do you think? [157]

Please do not lie: Polish people were not eligible to even join the Wehrmacht, only those who had sign up on the Deutsche Volksliste could join the Wehrmacht. No signature, no Wehrmacht.

We'll if you LIE, why wouldnt anyone else?
There were no "signing up" to a Deutsche Volksliste. That would be contradictory with Hitler's race politics. Volkliste was generated by Germans in Generalgubernia after invasion, if you were found on the list you received the letter that you have so many days to report to a commanding unit. If you did not report Wehrmacht came to your door and claimed you, if you still opposed you were imprisoned. There were no signing-up to being German.

Let me guess: you write for living and conclusions you arrive at are always dictated from above?

Travel / Why does everyone seem to hate LOT Polish Airlines? [380]

No, seriously... every time I fly LOT to Poland I always hear some fool complaining about the service (usually in Polish, btw) and I've lost count of the number of times I've heard such whingers describe them as the "worst airline in the world". Well, I would choose them to fly to Poland every time.

- The main issue is that LOT waited WAAAY to long to update its long haul fleet... They should have turned to Airbus 5 years ago instead they waited on the "dreamliner". They haven't negotiated anything from Boeing to compensate for being 5 years late in delivering the planes.

LOT is a government owned company, as a result, every single government that comes to power in Poland treats LOT as a prostitute: first thing they do is they push their own "buddies" on all management positions within the company. For instance: did you know that Tusk gave a place on the board to bartoszewski, for helping him to win the elections? It is a shame that no one goes to jail for corrupting and evidently working against LOT Corporation that is owned by the Polish tax payer... Just another case of PO corruption.

Life / 3 reasons why you hate Poland. [1049]

- Siegfried,
Sadly its the case world-wide, maybe more or so in Poland. Entire US is built this way: bigger this bigger that, an endless chase. You're right about Israeli cough, cough Polish movies... and yes they are primitive form of entertainment world-wide as well. Dont give up, there is a lot of normal people as well.

YOU ONLY DRINK AND COMPLAIN ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE AND OTHERS WHO ARE DIFFERENT FROM YOU.

- If you don't like it so much maybe it makes a perfect sense to back to your other side of family tree? I hate to be the one who breaks it out to you, but nothing will change on that note.

History / Polish-German alliance. [489]

Would you really like me to find the names of all the other British and Commonwealth airmen who died fighting in the Warsaw Uprising?

YES!!!!!! Where in Krakow is that cementary? Locate it on Google maps.
Explain the official stand of British Government stand on not helping in Warsaw uprising... Where did those airmen come from? There were couple of symbolic flights, here is what Wikipedia writes about it:

"....The RAF made 223 sorties and lost 34 aircraft. The effect of these airdrops was mostly psychological-they delivered too few supplies for the needs of the insurgents, and many airdrops landed outside insurgent-controlled territory...."

It is all SYMBOLISM, compared to how many Poles fought FOR Britain:

".....The Polish armed forces in the west fought under the British command and numbered 195,000 in March 1944 and 165,000 at the end of that year, including about 20,000 personnel in the Polish Air Force and 3,000 in the Polish Navy. At the end of World War II, the Polish Armed Forces in the west numbered 195,000 and by July 1945 had increased to 228,000, most of the newcomers being released prisoners of war and ex-labor-camp inmates..."

Poles like you make me wish that Britain had joined the war on the side of the Nazis.

- Of course, you're a coward with your head stuck in your behind; typical limey. Lucky I don't meet too many of yous...

Have you been to the Allied cemetery in Krakow to put flowers on the graves of the British men who died fighting for Poland in Poland? The same men who you insisted didn't exist until you were provided with their names and exact burial locations.

- How many names have you provided and how many locations? Just because one lost bomber plane, piloted by Canadian volunteers, crashed somewhere in Galicja still doesn't change ANYTHING, regardless what you'd like to think. Poland did not receive any type of formal, military help from its so called allies, when they fought for its own independence and it is fair to say that no Brit ever died for Polish independence, period. Now you can stop being a loonie and finally admit something.

It turned out to be Poland's biggest mistake as well... Allies: Brits and Americans tricked to believe Polish solders that they were fighting for a democratic Poland after war was over, on that behalf Katyn massacre was scrupulously masked, Sikorski killed.... As a result we received 50 years of Bolshevism after war was over. Communism was far more devastating. I think that Poland once and forever should stop looking for "friends" in United States of Israel because we have none there.

Travel / Why does everyone seem to hate LOT Polish Airlines? [380]

Flying about 200,000 miles a year I'll take a freedom to answer your comments... I fly LOT every year in both buisness and economy class.

1) customer service is terrible
THAT IS a PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
2) in flight service is a joke. God forbid you ask for a glass of water, the attendants look at you like you are crazy.
- LIE.
3) Calling them for info is a joke, if they don't like what you are saying they just hang up on you
- THAT IS WHAT I WOULD DO IF YOU PRESENT YOUR ATTITUDE.
4) The plances are 100 years old.
- PLANES ARE NO OLDER THAN UNITED, AMERICAN OR BA...

5) On yesterdays flight (WAW-ORD) the engine blew out, they had to dump fuel to lighten the plane to land in Iceland. I mean do they have mechanics that check planes beore they take-off? They kept everyone on the plane for 4 hours. Stayed ovrenight in some cheap hotel. Don't post a press release that people will be coming in the next day. People are still in Iceland waiting in the airport to get out...gee that is so much fun

ANOTHER LIE! BEING A PILOT, IT HAPPENS THAT MY BUDDY WAS A CAPITAN ON THAT FLIGHT. ALL IN ALL, THE ENGINE HAD A FAULTY PROBE AND THEY HAD TO SHUT IT DOWN AND LAND USING ONE ENGINE. IT TURNED OUT THAT IT WAS ONLY A PROBE IN FACT. INCIDENTS DESCRIBED ABOVE HAPPEN DAILY FOR EVERY AIRLINE. NOBODY SAT IN THE AIRPLANE FOR 4 HOURS, OTHER THAN MECHANICS...

6) Simply they are just rude.
I fly business class reason being I like to sleep in the bed/chair, the chair was BROKEN. Hello, why did I pay this money then? Certainly not for the food. They just DON'T CARE. Fly another European airline, same price and MUCH better service.

[/quote]
- OR MAYBE YOU ARE RUDE. WHAT YOU JUST WROTE I FIND VERY TRUE WITH BRITISH AIRLINES. BA IS RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND FLY 100 YEAR OLD PLANES. THEIR COACH CLASS SERVICE ON: US TO BRITAIN ROUTE SUCKS MAJOR ASS. YOU'LL BE LUCKY TO GET A MICROWAVED SHOE IN TOMATO SAUCE FOR A DINNER. SEATS I THEIR 100 YER OLD 767 FALL APART AND THEY SMELL LIKE AN USED SOCK. ALWAYS LATE AND IF THEY EXTEND YOUR TRIP FOR ANOTHER 2 DAYS BECAUSE THEIR CAPTAIN DIDN'T FEEL LIKE TAKING OFF WITH A FOG. YOU'LL END UP TRAVELING USING BUSES LIKE I DID VIA HALF OF EUROPE....JOKE!
