Life / What is the reason for POLISH jokes ? [486]

Sometimes they really piss me off and I am tempted to go Polack and throw them out the window.

What does "to go Polack" mean? I mean, did he just make that up or is that a common saying? It sounds like to "go Postal", which means to go crazy. It was created after postal workers all over the US began shooting people at their work places for no reason.

Yes, and so are the men on this forum. Polish men are very attractive. Nose size doesn't matter. :)

Genealogy / Is tallness common among Polish people? [201]

Even wear the same tights!

What?! :)

Sorry But average for a man I would say is 5 10 to 6ft

Seriously? I can't believe how tall people are over there. Even Matyjasz who is considered short in Poland is considered tall here in the US, at least in Los Angeles. I guess it's because there are many people here from Mexico and other Latin American countries and also many Asians (especially in my neighborhood) and most of them are not very tall. But even the Polish people here are not very tall.

As for me, I'm a midget compared to all of you. I'm 5 ft. 2 inches. I don't know how to convert to cm but I used an online converter and it says it's 157.48 cm. It's 62 inches total.

Love / Why Polish girl is very easy to approach and be in relationship? [63]

And when they said that 3 words, do they really mean it or just because they are very lonely?

Three words? Do you mean "I love you"? Those three words don't mean the same thing to a woman as they do to a man. Men take them more seriously. For women it just means they're in love with you, not that they actually love you.

My point is in 9 months she has been on and off with a few guys? And this not only happen 2 her but also to a few Polish girls that I know. Why? R they lonely, need attention or just love slutting around?

Maybe they're just trying to have fun before they get married and have to stay with one person. I'm not saying it's right but women sometimes regret it if they didn't try out more men by the time they do get married.

the women you are describing......Very Unfortunate.

But very human. Some men expect women to be something that is not realistic. Women are only human. I agree that acting on every desire is not right but that's because I have my beliefs. But some women don't believe in anything and therefore don't have a reason not to. And I just think it's unfair to call women like that bad names. Why are women obligated to behave a certain way just so men will be happy? And why is it okay to slander them if they don't?

What did I say exactly? I simply made the point that women often say "I love you" when they're just in love and men take it as being more serious. (I meant when you've been dating for a short while like the person who posted the topic). And some women like to go out with different men before they get married and some regret it if they don't and it's not fair to call these women sluts like fathibest did. I don't get your response. What do you mean?

Women who would try out many men before finally being with one is disgraceful. If a man does that then he is a Playboy...if a woman does it then she is just a woman? No, she is a Playgirl.

Seriously? I look at people who indulge in their desires as acting on something that is natural. I don't believe in doing that myself and it's a constant struggle not to. I am amazed that you don't struggle with your abstinence, that you don't have the desire to do that, too. You're very fortunate.

Genealogy / Why are some Polish people dark complected, and others very light [511]

I think it would be hard to tell if someone is dark skinned or olive skinned naturally because it might just be a tan. I think an olive skinned person would be that color all over, without a tan. I know people who have very white legs but when they wear shorts in the summer they get a dark tan but they're still a light skinned person despite it.

I've never seen a dark skinned Pole with dark hair.

Did you ever watch the show American Inventor? A Polish man won the contest. You should look him up and see his picture. He's not blond or lily white:

Recent years have seen the publication of a plethora of genetic reports dealing with the Polish population. As a result we now have a fair idea about the Poles' genetic structure and position in Europe. In many ways these studies have challenged traditional anthropological and historical research on Poland, which often claimed the Poles to be strongly mixed with a variety of ethnic groups that have migrated to the region over the centuries.

Hi mrhappy. I've seen you on a different forum. I find this information very interesting. What are your thoughts on autosomal DNA? Some say it's flawed. Others find it reliable. Do you know anything about the autosomal DNA in Poland? I should start a different thread on this topic.

That's an old man. He looks Mexican.

Poor Janusz. What if he's reading this right now? He'll be hurt. :)

A haplogroup is a genetic marker. A cellular imprint denoting membership to a certain grouping of humans who are also sharing that imprint. It specifically deals with the phenotype of the individual. Just off the top of my head.

Have you had your haplogroup checked? I'll tell you mine if you'll tell me yours.

I did a search on the most recent leaders and found that these men are part white. They've got Mexican Indian ancestry as well which doesn't make them just white. They have just as much right to lead Mexico as those who are "full" Mexican Indian which I doubt exists anymore with so much admixture.

and his mother was Mercedes Quesada.

What is his mother Mercedes Quesada's ancestry? Fox is a typical ancestral make up of Mexico. White father, Mexican Indian mother. It's been that way since the Spaniard Cortes and the Indian woman Malinche.

Here's a quote and link:

"As an aside, and I didn’t get a chance to mention this to Fox himself, it dawned on me as I was leaving our meeting that he has a similar ethnic heritage to that of the Editor-in-Chief of El Ojo del Lago, in that the Mexican president’s mother is Mexican, while his grandfather came from Ireland and settled in Mexico."

"His mother, Mercedes Quesada, born in Spain, makes history by becoming the first foreigner ever to have had a child elected President of Mexico."

Holy guacamole. Is that for real? Why had he been lying all that time saying his mother was Mexican?

LOL. It's like Arnold coming here and running California.
