Indeed there is no way to enforce their decisions but as the US, Uk etc pointed out recently with regard to the Russia/Ukraine case their decisions are binding.

You would really need to ask those who proclaimed the ICJ rulings as binding ie a clatter of NATO countries. If the decisions are binding on one state then they are binding on all states that subscribe to the court.


I agree with South Africa's case that Israel is using the attack by Hamas to eradicate the people of Gaza. Very important political figures and decision makers in Israeli have expressed their wish to remove the Palestinians from Gaza and their army are doing their bidding.

If Shin Bet was so confident of these connections why have they never raised the issue before? They have all the names and details of the employees yet never challenged a single individual. Over the years Israel has closed down as much of Palestinian civil society as they could . This smacks of collective punishment...and an attempt to discredit international bodies who are recording the war crimes and the progress of the Zionist genocide. The ICJ issued an Interim ruling but noted that the case against Israel was compelling and would be progressed.

No one mentioned the ICC Israel is not a member.

Israel has bombed and destroyed huge parts of Gaza multiple times the problem they have is they decided to build their country in someone else's country. They have to live with the consequences of that.

I could turn the table and point out that a unitary state as proposed pre UN division plan would solve the issues. All Israel has to do is dismantle apartheid guarantee the right of return pay proper restitution for the land theft and ethnic cleansing. Are you saying that governments are deliberately distracting the public by using streaming services, the internet and tabloid reporting? I think thats a bit of an exotic theory.

Personally I dont like the modern world, its too vulgar I like sitting in front of the fire with a stick. I think the internet is for morons (apart from the bits I use) I have a list of other grumpy gripes but wont post them here, however It turns out that I'm not unique in world history. My parents thought it was weird as I sat listening to records in my bedroom, their parents thought it was weird they weren't cleaning chimneys and the great grand parents were happy complaining about the Tuatha De Danann.

There are no deliberate distractions, most people will scan the paper and all of them will read the story about the dog with two heads first. That is how people are, we love gossip. Sports washing etc are real strategies that governments use which is why the savage invasion of Iraq is portrayed as a feminist mission, the genocide in Gaza is Palestinians fault etc. Most people see right through those propaganda tools or they dont care.

The problem is using money as the base line for any particular activity.
