ok thanks. I did do a skydive once and that scared me.. but dont think it scarred me for life... deep breaths and a sense of humour help me get by.. I have quite a laid back attitude to presentations and if something goes wrong I just joke about it and that seems to go down well.

sorry, having some probs. with my log-in. Well I am not advocating giving to anyone who asks.. ideally you would have more than a 5-10 min chat before giving him your number, so you should have some idea if he is OK or not and if you like him.. then he calls and if you decide you are not interested you either tell him then or make an excuse. If he calls again you will recognise his number and dont answer.. after a few tries he will get the message and stop calling.

Ken I think you are need of boosting your self esteem.. look after yourself and find happiness within and everything else will follow.. you cant pin all your hopes on others.. many people think they will be happier in a relationship, but its usually not the magic cure you hope for.. you have to cure whatever problems you have yourself before you can find happiness with someone else. Sorry I know its easy to say,but small life changes may help you reach your ultimate goal. I dont know what your job is and if you are happy in it, but it sounds like you could do with some kind of change in your life.

very true. I had a similar experience... but that can also make it fun as its a long process of getting to know one another..the only problem is when you dont like what you find at the end of it and have invested a lot of time.

Ken Noddy, dont doubt yourself.. no-one is out of your league, imho if anything would put her off it would be more likely to be your lack of confidence rather than your looks.. although having said that some women find shyness endearing, definitely better than arrogance. Personally I dont think you should ask her outright if she is seeing anyone, that would put me off more than anything.. there is nothing wrong with trying to build a friendship first and you will then find that out naturally... although if you act very awkward around her then she will probably be aware that you fancy her. I dont know what kind of place you guys work, but she must have to speak fairly good English to work there.. no?
