Love / Fell in love with a Polish girl, but find it difficult to approach her [620]

A naive attitude in this day and age perhaps but I am going to stick with it.

not at all ken :)

its the better way to think.. :)

alot of people say, its the nice guys who finish last, but its the nice guys who are
hard to find.. you just need to put yourself out there more..

I can tell you from experience with my brother.. alot of times women notice
the attentive men.. my brother is very attentive, girls come up and say
to me all the time is your brother married? no hes not, why I dont know , they
both arent, of their own choice.. but when I tell him that a girl is looking at him
he turns red as a beet!! its funny how they see that in him, being attentive
is a very good aspect in a man. my brother is friendly, he talks to all the neighbors
and everyone at work.. of course if I could get him to meet one and start dating
but hes content, so I leave him alone, but thats one of the things I was approached
with by other females.. and he wasnt really a momma's boy, i have two brothers
so she had to pay attention to both, they are just very kind hearted.

plus, the middle brother ( attentive) likes older women, he is 42. he flirts with
some, but not in a bad way, just his own way, its funny to because they bring him
things to his work , like homemade bread, cookies etc..

when he sees a neighbor out, he asks if she would like some help and he does
it for her, every store I go with him he knows alot of people and it never fails every
time, people are just stopping us to say hello and I think our whole city knows him!
I would swear by this.. lol

so ken, maybe , while your out taking a walk, or perhaps out somewhere ....

I think you have the ball bouncing now :))) so go get emm tiger :)))

Wooooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!! " Whistleing"

yes, and you dont have to bend over backwards to please everyone, dont think of
it as a chore that you must complete, its a lesson in ethics.(human duty)
how you want to be
as a person. small favors go a long way really.. and you feel better because you
did something helpful without expecting back..

I think so far your doing wonderful, because not only did you accomplish something
you found that fight that you need to survive.. something you had all along just
tucked away!!

So, to answer your question, yes I am confident.

Love / Fell in love with a Polish girl, but find it difficult to approach her [620]

Some have given advice here that the best way to counteract this is to date 2 or 3 girls at the same time.

no, i never did this, even when I was single, one man at a time, it always ends up
someone getting hurt, people dont realize the domino effect it causes.. because
then that hurt person goes on this huge revenge kick and everyone in their path
including the ones that actually love them get hurt. the process never ends till the
domino effect is broken. everyone on a re-bound, just dont work.

even when you break up with someone, take it as learning, to not do it with
the next person, or take it slower, think before you react so to speak..

re-bound relationships are just horrible, because the unsuspecting new lady or gent
has no idea how much was involved and they wont ever measure up, its up to the
one who broke it off recently to take a break, because this causes more problems
in the end, and what if the "old love" shows back up and says I want you back?
the new one gets hurt, then the old love says, oh yeah, I remembered why we
didnt work and leaves again, and thus, another mess..

not good to jump out of the pan and into the fire..

Love / Fell in love with a Polish girl, but find it difficult to approach her [620]

there is a nice girl who I would like to talk to. See seems a very friendly and bubbly person but she is always there with her sister and mother.

what a perfect setting, because her mother would probably encourage a nice gents
advances,, if you see her there all the time, you should ask what her name is or if you
cant do that, buy some flowers and ask one of the other trainers if they would
deliver them to her, but dont leave when its done, watch from whatever machine
you are at.. if she is surprised and smiles, hey, move in and start talking . or tell her
you would like to meet afterwards for a chat :) and invite her mother and sister if
necessary :) compliment everyone, I can bet she would be extremely flattered and
to boot, mom and sis are there to encourage ..

and trust me, moms and sisters are always looking for the children and siblings
someone nice, so whatever way you decide to meet :) its up to you :)
be casual and charming.. maybe even bring a rose or two for the mom and sister
will pretty much put you in their family as future son in law. :)) whether you are
willing or not.. lol

ken, the above is just a senario, she could be married and out with her family
but, ya never know until you make that move. so take your time,. as always
you cant hurry love.. <~as phil collins remake song goes :)

Any idea how to win a girl heart without partying hard.

if your not a party person, why would you go for someone who obviously is?

I suggest you go for someone who is more layed back and likes to do other things
besides partying, besides you should know young adults like to have fun their way
and she might not be ready for a relationship.. if thats what you want, good luck.

we cant tell you how to win the girl. thats really up to you.

somethings in life are worth sacraficing for ,and some not..

News / What is wrong with Poland that Poles emigrate? [167]

Too stupid to do anything else!!......and you don't go for the better jobs,.... because 80% of you don't speak English!....So there you go!!

aj, why do you put people down so much? what personal satisfaction do you get out
of it??

how do you figure they are too stupid? they were smart enough to come to the uk
and take/send money back to poland /investing in their own country is pretty smart to me..

maybe you think they are too stupid, but I think while your basking in your own
fueled hatred, they will be richer then apple pie and pass you by a long shot because
your stuck so far into the mudd with hate, you cant find the line to pull yourself out.

She said somewhere else that ''in the UK we ring in sick''.....As an excuse to get off work!....

so your telling me that people dont call off sick and go do something else?

what is wrong with saying that? people actually do it.. if you say no, your a liar and
lying to the whole forum.

probably where bunia works it happens. alot , some people dont like thier jobs, or
dont like work at all..

I agree with her, because it happens in every work place, people do take days off
when they are not sick.. and maybe where she works it made them extremely short
for staff so people were mad and upset at these people who called in and maybe
from viewing their work habits they were/are lazy at work.. how can you even
challenge this? Why would you challenge this ?? I dont challenge any of the lazy
workers at my job.. it makes me upset to because patients suffer due to the lack of
time i can spend with them... this goes for any job..

I think you owe those Polish folks an Apologie for saying such a thing, I would agree
if you had a valid statement.. but I didnt see her statement as wrong. yours was to
actually degrade and humilate.. some might not speak english, doesnt make them
lesser then you.. that was low.. you called them stupid.

so from her /yours.. I agree with her. you were aiming to hurt.. she was only telling
truth and it goes for everyone, she is only guilty of generalization..

Life / Famous Polish people (that we have actually heard of) [224]

His presence on this board is an offence to us Poles.

puzzy, puzzy puzzy..

are you now turnin two faced? you offer beer and then when another strong
voice pops in for how long is a good question, you turn your back on brat??

The past has to be left in the past.. the scars need to heel. theres nothing wrong
with learning about it, theres nothing wrong with feeling about it, but continous
blame on those generations now is wrong.. very wrong.. none of us were there.

we all only learned about it. the truth is, yes I hurt , and everytime I see movies
about it, or documentarys about it, it makes me sad to know this happened in
a civilized world. my whole family is from poland, and I often wondered if any had
died during that time. I dont know if any others had perished. only one cousin
told us her story.. and her experience was good with the german family. and there
was so many others.. untold, because why? because the focus is always on the bad
of it,, not the hero stories , the stories of those who died risking their lives to save
so many.. its all there in the holocaust site.. heros forgotten. and theres many other
sites that can be googled.. When I came to learn about poland I came to learn
about my ancestors beautiful country..

the focus is always on the aushwitz death camp.. alot of people I run into here
say, oh yes we visited the camps.. thats not what polands about.. death camps!!

poland needs to get out of this death camp and show people how it really is..
culture, beauty, great food, wonderful people..

if I ever come to poland, it wont be about the death camps. I will be seeing the
real Poland that has existed longer ....
