Love / Polish girls attitudes towards sex. [568]

Men come from Mars and women from Venus. Polish women however, come from Uranus.

Is there gold on Uranus? I feel like digging some.

No. But there is ice and gas. Perhaps a feasible alternative?

Maybe. Poland would need some gas and getting it from Uranus is probably more feasible than getting it from Polish soil :)
And ice we could use for drinks or something.

If you felt the way you did you could've told him that via PM or even on the forum but without revealing his PRIVATE messages to you. Still think he deserves a simple "sorry" from you.

OK, you're right. I let out the steam yesterday and I'm much less bit*hy today so I can apologise if he didn't like that I wrote about his private messages.

Exactly, my point is do what you expect from us men - don't lump us all in the same category.

Skysoulmate, it was my little revenge for what is written here about Polish women (and not only about Polish ones, actually). And look how men reacted :) All the indignation :)))

I wasn't writing from my own experience. That's just "common knowledge" that men's nature is poligamic. I think many women think this way ;)

Note!!! My "poking" at you is totally asexual. :)

Here for your pleasure (no, not in the sexual way Paulina! ;)

I can see I joined the club of members with weird obsessions - like Crow and his Slavic thing LOL Now I'm the One Who Sees Flirting Everywhere ;)

Oh, ya, she's a pure menace

;) I'm sure she'll exact revenge for that remark later. :)

No, I can be a menace sometimes ;)

OK, I've just read your post.

LOL

Better late than ever, I guess ;)

I will discuss it face-to-face with those I know, esp men. I'm a big lad and man up when I have to.

I just wonder, Seanus, whether you tell those Polish women face-to-face what you think about them. Because I don't think anyone likes to be talked about behind his/hers back (like many do that here on this forum, not only you). I don't think it's pretty either.

And some women maybe would change their ways if you were honest with them :)

can we call an end to this please. it's off topic.

History / DID THE COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT OF POLAND CENSOR MAIL IN AND OUT OF POLAND [29]

Has anyone experience of this happening to them also parcels coming from abroad were they interfered with.

My mother when she was a kid was exchanging letters with a Russian girl (it was a "frendship with the USSR" school project or something of this kind). And in one of her letters the Russian girl wrote to my mum that next time she will send her gifts in the envelope: an embroided handkerchief and a golden ring. My mum received the letter but it was torn and glued together, there was a handerchief inside, but no ring LOL

History / Why Poles love Russia [105]

I think it's a love-hate relationship

So very true!

Aren't you a Russian by any chance?

LOL And I, after reading Wiedzmin_fan's comment quoted above, thought he must be Polish ;)))

Life / A Girl Told Me You Have to Be Goodlooking to "sustain" in Poland. [30]

nonoo its not abt india or being an indian. the whole asia think its cool. people in anime have blue or green eyes and they look wonderful!!! and ive heard europeans have natural red hair..natural!!!!! wooooow
..and in most parts of India...all blondes are looked at as Princess Of Beauty :D

I remember how even some Italian guys were fascinated with my friend's blond hair and blue eyes :) They said she has "laser eyes" LOL

I guess it's exotic and thus attractive. The same is here - people are attracted to darkhaired people with darker skin :)
ThePotatoe, you're handsome, girls will like you :)))

News / Komorowski won Poland's presidency vote? [125]

Because of their last meetings.

What meetings? They had some private meetings? :)

He came away with a favourable impression!

Of course he did :) In politics there are only favourable impressions! :)

Everyone knows that PO have close ties with the Russian government

What? :D What do you mean by "close ties with the Russian government"? :>

PiS tend to be less forward about it.

PiS is considered in Russia a "russophobic" party, as far as I know.

News / Komorowski won Poland's presidency vote? [125]

Indeed they did :)

When? :)

JK has changed his tune on that one :)

Suuuure he did :))) If winning the elections would depend on this he would change his cat for a dog LOL

News / Komorowski won Poland's presidency vote? [125]

May 8 2010 they got together.

LOL You're serious? You mean this?:

Acting President Bronislaw Komorowski Speaker of Parliament announced that on the eve of the celebration of the end of World War II - will meet in Moscow with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. - The Russian side proposed a meeting with Dmitry Medvedev on Saturday. I look forward to this meeting as important not only from the standpoint of joint participation in the celebration of the victory over Nazism , but also important from the point of view of Polish-Russian relations - said the Marshal of the Sejm after judicial appointment ceremony at the Belvedere . Topics of talks with Russian President will include the Katyn and the investigation into the Smolensk crash .

It's hardly a private meeting, Seanus :))) Komorowski was there as a president of Poland.

I can't divulge such details, Paulina. I don't want to breach any legislation :)

What? I don't understand what you mean.

He would have been there as acting President or Marshall, not as actual President.

Yes, he was there as an acting President.

Paulina, I was referring to inappropriate disclosure :)

I still don't understand what does it have to do with you claiming that Komorowski had a private meeting with Medvedev and that he likes him and Putin :) There was no private meeting.

So - what disclosure?

Do you know that Medvedev was the first PM to congratulate him? It stands to reason why.

It means... Medvedev likes Komorowski? :D

Btw, Medvedev is a President not a PM LOL

Medvedev will love Kommie more and more :)

It's possible he likes him for the sole reason that he's not Kaczyński :)
Russians living in Poland love Komorowski already - they're celebrating his victory :)

News / Komorowski won Poland's presidency vote? [125]

I can well imagine. PO stooges got a raw deal in the Smoleńsk investigation and pilots are having a hard time getting a clear picture due to 'omissions' and inexplicable holes that are not in conformance with how things should go.

"Stooges", "raw deal", "omissions", "inexplicable holes", "how things should go" - very precise, concrete and reasonable comment, Seanus :)))

Kommie was too concerned with hiding potentially damning communist files, sth that JK wanted to take him up on.

Stooges, raw deals, omissions, inexplicable holes, world conspiracy, "kabałas", Zionists - no wonder you prefer Jarosław Kaczyński, and dislike Komorowski :)

I think I've read enough :]

News / Komorowski won Poland's presidency vote? [125]

Thanks, I thought so too :) :)

You thought what? :)

You clearly aren't up to speed with the investigation. I suggest Szeremet and Rzepa.

I think I'm aware of all the controversies, theories, etc. Rzepa is a right wing newspaper with a dislike for Tusk and his administration and they have some anti-Russian journalists. I'm not sure whether they can be objective about this :)

Just like 9/11,

Bush did it? :D Or the Jews maybe? :D

They can easily say it was working but then fiddle with it.

Seanus, be reasonable, why on Earth would they do that? :)))
Paulina

News / Komorowski won Poland's presidency vote? [125]

I thought it was good too :) See above :)

What was good?

No, Rzepa would be Zbigniew Rzepa, co-prosecutor with Andrzej Szeremet, but nevermind ;) ;)

Oh, OK.
But you do look like a "Rzeczpospolita" fan :)

There's no sense in discussing it with deniers.

Nor with believers :)))

What a VERY stupid question, that's all I can say about that.

I was making fun, Seanus :) On the other hand... I don't know what to expect from you anymore :)))

Very precise, reasonable etc etc, you said.

I was being ironic :)
It was the opposite, of course - not precise, not concrete and not reasonable :)

I don't read Polish newspapers, or any newspapers in physical print for that matter.

Not even on-line editions?

I am more consistent than Kommie :)

If you say so LOL

The man acted like he had won days ago.

Don't know about Komorowski, because I didn't follow the campaign, but in case you didn't notice - every candidate during campaign behaves as if he's going to win :)))

News / Komorowski won Poland's presidency vote? [125]

Well, the core content was right and my message was clear.

It wasn't right :) I got the message, but it's not about that :)

I go beyond the denial stage, sorry ;)

What denial stage?

Very seldom, Paulina. Online is for preference but I don't incorporate much of the material into my teaching. Besides, the students just shrug when Kommie's name comes up :)

I meant reading newspapers for yourself, not gathering material for your students.

Yes, I do :) :)

Well, of course, how could YOU say otherwise? :)))

Oh, but Kommie got it down to a tee. He made it into a fine art :) He must have learned document removal from WTC 7 too ;) ;)

You're just prejudiced against him :) And in quite an agressive way, I must say.

Did he leave his wife out of the campaign for a reason? ;)

I don't know if he did, as I said - I didn't follow the campaign. I don't care about his wife too much, I don't even remember how Tusk's wife looks like :)

Young Kaczyńska is not too bad to look at :) Smart young woman as well :)

Well, I've heard Kaczyński did exploit her in the campaign. People didn't like this, I guess.

Good point there, delph. However, it's almost 3 months on and black box data has been released and those ATC guys have been interviewed regarding flight paths and altitudes. Conjectural speculation, coupled with available data, should be the norm if you ask me. No harm in asking, especially if you have flying exp and something to go on, wouldn't you say?

Asking questions is one thing but insinuating that Polish government would like to cover up something about the Russian radar, etc. is just silly, IMHO :)

Oh, this is about Kommie's win so I guarantee you that he won't cast the net wider on the investigation.

What do you mean by casting the net wider on the investigation? It's the prosecuters' job to get to the truth. You think they don't want to know the truth?

What would you like Komorowski do about the investigation? Go to Russia and interview witnesses by himself? LOL

USA, Canada / What do Polish people think about Canadians? [44]

generally Polish people know that Canada is next to USA, have a lot of pine-woods, have a good standard of living and maybe something about Canadian Police on horses ......
There some people who know a lot more and many that know less .........
what they can think about Canadians given such data ? nothing !

Well, Ironside is pretty much right about this ;)

The first thing that comes to my mind is the TV series I've watched on Polish TV:

tour-de-france.cz/duesouth/images/foto/merchandise/official guide.jpg

:)

I've heard Canadians are rather mild, calm and friendly :)
And I know that both English and French is used there.
And many American TV series are shot in Canada, as I've heard ;)
And there are a lot of woods in Canada ;)))

I guess, if a Pole thinks anything about Canadians, it's usually something positive :)

Or what they've seen on TV shows...that's not always good

Well, I've never seen anything negative about Canadians on Polish TV, as far as I can remember ;)

The tree of Canada is the maple=klon :)

Yes, I know :) And Canada has a very characteristic flag :)

UK, Ireland / Not all is bad for Poles in Scotland! [167]

Yes, there were the moody ones who were unfriendly but that's just their character and nothing to do with Scotland. If they don't like it, they know what they can do.

:D

Kindly take your dissatisfaction elsewhere. We don't want griping cnuts like you in Scotland.

Wow, I think I will quote those statements every time when Seanus starts complaining about Poles, Polish women or Poland in general :D

Paulina, I meant what I said.

LOL And you wrote to me that you write stuff on this forum to wind up Poles and incite discussion! :D
I don't believe a word you write anymore, Seanus.

I see many good things here in Poland and I open the eyes of some here to their own country.

I don't think you're the rigth person to open anybody's eyes about anything, to be honest :)

That's the benefit of a positive mindset

LOL :D

You don't like Scotland, you have free movement out of there :) :) :)

I don't live in Scotland :D
I live in my own country :)

I don't know if this is an answer to my post (you could quote from time to time), but if it is then:

It works so I roll with it.

OMG... It doesn't say anything good about you. On the contrary.

You'd be very surprised :0

LOL Tremendously :)

Like you'd know :)

?

I wasn't saying you personally. Just people generally.

But nobody wrote in this thread that he/she doesn't like Scotland :) You flew off the handle for no reason. It was kind of funny considering how you like winding Poles up, how much satisfaction it gives you and how you look down on them because of the fact they fall for your bs :)

Funny that you always come back for more :) :)

Not always :) From time to time. You can be very funny sometimes and I just couldn't help myself this time :]

A tittle-tattler is in our midst ;)

How we say in Poland: "Przyganiał kocioł garnkowi" :D

What is bad for Poles in Scotland?

You, if you'd stay in Scotland :P

Get a room!!!! :P

It would end up in bloodshed :D We don't want that, do we? :)
