Hi

As a child my grandmother used to call me
"Kalagas Pestka" or at least I think that is how it is spelled. I'm looking for a reference to that phrase but can't find any.

She said it meant "my friend the pits"

And it meant that if the whole world was a bowl of cherries you are my friend the pits.

Any help to find the proper spelling of this phrase would be appreciated.
