I am a native English speaker also learning Polish and would love people who can comfortable speak the language for emailing, facebook chat, phone, and Skype (though it may take a little while before I feel comfortable skyping with a stranger). I am happy to help with English, of course!

Feedback / Would you favour a free and open PF where people could post under their real names? [55]

It could be interesting, but I doubt it would work. Too many people could easily lie about their real name, and it would have to be separate from the anonymous forums.

I will say though, I am deeply disturbed by the hateful comments I have read on this site so far (I just joined today). I am persistently amazed at how small-minded people can be. Conversing with people who have different opinions is important, but it should be done in a constructive and educational way. Too many are so quick to attack, feeling their morals or views are threatened by the unbelievable fact others exist who do not share those views. Please be mature, people. Have an actual conversation, not a word fight. Ask why the other feels the way they feel, share factual articles (but please, no false news sites that seem to be so popular), articulate your thoughts.
