Life / Whats up with Polish guys getting drunk and looking for a fight? [60]

Hi. I'm a middle aged Turkish guy who has never been to Poland before. I'm an atheist, i'm not a nationalist, therefore i believe I do not possess any religious or nationalist stereotype against Poland and Polish people.

Until a few years ago, I regulary played on an online bridge playing site called Bridge Base. Among Bridge Base players, Canadians had the most decency, manners and kindness. Southeast Asians, Israelis, Netherlanders, Americans and even Greeks were generally nice also . Unfortunately Polish people were the worst. I had witnessed several times that a Polish player, who played like drunk, made a wrong bid or missed the simplest maneuvre in the game, starts blaming his partner without a clue, usually with racist and profane comments. At last, I decided that it would be best to leave the game table when a Polish guy sat as a partner.

I won't claim that we Turks are the nicest people in the world, maybe we might be below world average in terms of manners, but the Polish people that i played at Bridge Base had really serious problems.

I'm wondering whether bridge playing is used in the rehabilitation program for uneducated, rednecked teenagers in Poland? Since most of the Polish I've played on bridge base acted as if they belong to that group.
