USA, Canada / Are there any Polish persons living in Louisiana? [18]

I was just wondering if there is any sort of Polish community in Louisiana? I spent a few months in Houston and I met some polish peeps there--but, I have yet to meet anyone from a Polish background here. A lot of French people though...oo la al

Have yet to see a Polish Deli amongst the various CAJUN restaurants and crawfish places.

Travel / Best places to visit in Poland [87]

I got mugged in Warsaw last time I was there...I'm going to Krakow next time!!!
But all my fam is in Warsaw, so I'll have to chill there for a while also. Last time I was there it took me 3 hours to cash my traveler's checks...I would avoid the banks--just use your MasterCard.

Warsaw is a dirty city and the vislaw is a very poluted river.

1 USD = 2.75 Zloty

About two years ago everything is about the same price as it is here in the US...may electronics might be cheaper here.
