Law / Need help on my driving license (lost my national license in Poland and would like to replace it for Polish) [14]

I drove for over five years without a driving licence in Germany, Holland and Poland. Believe it or not it's not such a big problem and quite funny when the police get all pissy with you and tell you, you are in big trouble, as long as you have valid insurance and test certificate and not been banned, it's only a fixed on the spot fine. The last time I was fined for it in Germany, it cost me 20 d marks. Just give him your docs, wait till he asks you for a licence and tell him you gave him it. Then go through the motions of looking for it and when you can't find it tell them you've lost/forgotton it. Simple.

"Be warned - if you get stopped while only having the IDP, you'll be prosecuted for driving without a licence." not true he/she has a driving licence just can't produce it= Fixed penalty "Kodeks Karny". even if she/he has no driving licence still not an offence so long as the said person has not been excluded from holding one.No insurance is an offence.
