origin of both fathers name and mothers maiden name

I am trying to find the origins of both my fathers name and my mothers maiden name. My fathers name is Gardygajlo and my mothers maiden name is stasiewicz. I do not know what part of Poland both sets of grandparents are from, although my mothers mother my have lived close to the russian border. Any information anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for any information about my mothers cousin, John Zubryzcki. He originally was from Camden NJ. He left NJ back in the late fortys,early fiftys after feeling embaresd about how his life was going. His last known location was somewhere in the San Fransisco area.
