but please, this love for Polish architecture is quite surprising...

I could agree about the qualities of what is left of old buildings (medieval or baroque), but what Communists forced upon Poland sucks badly indeed :(

especially ugly conckrete boxes, I hope the country will soon be wealthy enough to remove them from here

I am very fond of the spiritual dimension of Poland, I mean not just religion but e.g. the heritage of great romantic poets of the 19th century, this freedom mythology, that could be one of the sources of that notorious moral strengh :)
