Love / What do Polish girls think about dating Asian guys? [134]

I've never dated one, but Koreans are quite different from Indian guys :)

To me the color doesn't matter, it's more about the cultural difference. I am white, but I find a lot of men attractive, men of different colors, you know. In New York I've seen it all, all possible combinations :) Middle Eastern guys can be eye-catching to women of all colors, I think. But so can be other men. We love you all guys :) But like I said, the cultural aspect of interracial dating is crucial here.

Arise_St_George.

I don't think anybody is in the position to tell me what or who, for that matter, I should "stick" to. I am an adult and I make decisions on my own. I associate with people of different origins, hence different colors and cultures. I don't "stick" to any "breed" (I am sure dog fanatics do). LOL

I never said we are the same, culturally we are different. That's all that matters to me. Other than that, oh well, it's fine by me. I have hard time dealing with the "breed" you belong to, that is retarded "breed".

Arise_St_George,

Not that I want to disappoint you, but if your daughter makes that decision as an adult, I doubt you will be able to have any influence on it. I feel bad for your girl... What are you gonna do? Lock her up from away from the rest of the world? LOL I seriously doubt it :) But go ahead and drive yourself crazy over ... nothing :) Good Catholic that you are... Religion should unite people, not divide them. But a "genuine" Catholic as you are should know it. You are not Catholic as far as I'm concerned. You are not even a good parent. Bottom line.

Translation: you will feed them (your children) prejudice, hatred and racism. WOW, that's what parenting is about. I wasn't quite aware of that LOL

Please, don't have children! You have no clue what role parents should have in their children's life. And forget about religion, just follow common sense :) I'm afraid you are lacking that big time.

Like getting baptized will be any shield for your kids, yeah, right. The world is a funny and surprising place. Your children will figure it out on their own. They will be laughing at you one day. Not to mention their embarrassment: "our daddy taught us all the right things in life". LOL

Good luck to you with whatever it is you are planning for you children.

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

Murzyn - masculine
Murzynka - feminine
Murzynek - masculine, but used for a boy

Where's the confusion coming from?

Mulat = black and white; it's not a derogatory term at all
Mulatka - feminine

There do exist derogatory terms to refer to black people in Polish, though. The above examples do not belong to this category.

Language / twoj wasz [12]

Wasz = your / yours (2nd person plural)

Twój = Nominative / masculine (used for 2nd person singular with a singular noun)
Wasz = Nominative / masculine (used for 2nd person plural with a singular noun)

e.g.

This is your house. = To jest Twój dom. (you are speaking to Susie only)
This is your house. = To jest Wasz dom. (you are speaking to Susie and Mark)

This house is yours. = Ten dom jest Twój. (you are speaking to Susie only)
This house is yours. = Ten dom jest Wasz. (you are speaking to Susie and Mark)

Hope that helps :)
