36 times more likely to engage in extreme violent acts

And Serbians aren't? We've all seen that dreadful film.

And of course there's a significant overlap. Given how often you post about male sexuality, you must think of nothing else but todger.

News / Will PiS be happy if AfD wins elections in Germany? [1442]

if that also is about that "blood-story".....

Ours originates in Georgia; we have the same patron saint. I doubt it's so much about blood stories as about visibility and early medieval fabrics and dyestuffs.

In England two lines of Plantagenets like in War of Roses white and red

That's the Tudor Rose. An amalgam of the family emblems of the House of York and the House of Lancaster. A bit later and contains other colours. It's used (in different forms) as military insignia and as county flags but hasn't as far as I know ever been a national flag.

Austria and Latvia use red/white colors too!

And England and Georgia. And Switzerland.

Monaco too. They can save money (not that Monaco needs to) by reusing Polish flags.

who else's ?

Ask Barney...

Anyway, the threads don't belong to individual people

stocks

Shares?

One of the best buys I've ever made were Rolls Royce shares. They have their ups and downs, however long term they have served me well.

Law / Law for moving to Poland [3]

teaching TEFL

You're teaching teachers online?

I work

If you're on the territory of the Republic of Poland and working, you'll generate a tax liability.

I have researched this but it is not very clear.

Researched online? A good bet would be to contact your local Polish Consulate. That or your own country's Embassy in Poland.

If you're self employed, your country has a Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. They may not be much help however it's worth having a few words with them.

Food / High Class Cuisine in Poland: What foods are eaten by Polish upper classes at 5 star Polish restaurants etc? [7]

Polish upper class

The "upper class" of any country is rarely larger than 500 people, many of whom are out of that country at any given time.

If you mean restaurants frequented by the wealthier end of the middle classes (those that live in or near the capital anyway) there are a few. Amaro is popular (and booked solid long in advance). The menu above looks like one of theirs. Basically fusion food with some local ingredients.

This one is an old favourite of the elite. Its official name is Restauracja Belvedere, however the cognoscenti refer to it by another name. Basically classic European international food. Its website is here: belvedere.com.pl/en/home

There's also Fukier, famous in the 90s and 2000s for hair-raising prices, which has become a bit touristy now. Good food though.

a clue what a hedge fund is or how they work.

Really?

It's not exactly rocket science, they're not exactly obscure and you don't "own" one or invest in one.

Jimmy Poorhouse owns a Hedge Fund of every day of the week

"Own" a Hedge Fund? He doesn't even own a bloody hedge.

Perhaps he "owns" a hedgehog.

Speaking of smelly hemorrhoid puss sacked filled dirty holes with A.I.D.S

We all know about your wife's double prolapse however I'm sure it's only that bad before her annual shower

Travel / About cars, electric and combustion in Poland. [162]

33,000€

If he can afford a Ferrari, he can afford that.

Katowice

In the EU too, so presumably taxable. Probably less likely to enforce rules than Germany though. An unlucky guy.

The most unlucky car owner I've come across was in Warsaw. He bought a new performance car. It was delivered to the street outside his house and stolen that same night, before he'd taken out insurance. Expensive for him.

History / Let's talk about the POLISH ARMY [79]

I don't see a reason

Nor me, though armies are a rule to themselves, and there may well be something the media don't know, given that military operations were involved. The same thing happens in the UK sometimes; families want to know but the army don't want to say for reasons they don't make public.

There are a lot of details, as you say, however there may well be issues not in the public domain yet.

History / Let's talk about the POLISH ARMY [79]

Why not?

A few reasons. Could be the nature and origin of any poison, could be another security issue, could be about morale. Armies are a rule to themselves sometimes.

It's dangerous being a soldier. She was evidently very brave and her family must miss her.
