The Other, I asked you a question.

Any specific examples? Come on! Show us that having been in this forum for a few years have taught you something! :):):):):):)

You shunned it and played the ball back to me.

Let's hear something valuable from you first... :)Seriously, what's your opinion as a Pole? Can you give me some positive examples? Are you guys able to see the similarities and accept your shared history, or is the memory of WW2 still too fresh?

If you are really serious with it...

as a teacher, I must say your educational progress in this forum amounts to zero.

You are wasting time, yours and ours, with your presence here.

PS. I will give you one more chance, I always give it to underpriviliged students. Check my threads.

So you prefer to go public and embarass people? Hopeless.

btw my English is far from perfect

So why are you correcting others? Daj se coś na wstrzymanie, chłopie czy kobito, kimkolwiek tam jesteś. Relax, man or woman, whatever.

News / Incredible news from Poland - The president shaved his moustache! [83]

Come on! You should know for sure...brown-nosing him on daily bases.

You certainly overestimate my capabilities. :):):)

You are in perfect position to bring some Intel.

??? What`s that? :):)

During mass service last year, two crowns have fallen of God`s mother figure in a monastery in Jarosław. People see it as a sign and are bringing gold and silver to replare the old crowns with new ones.

You share large parts of your history, both cultures are closely related.

Hey, Other, how about posting something valuable at last? Are you able to think of any concord of culture between Poles and Germans?

Sorry, but some of the nutters here need to be annoyed on a constant basis.

Yes, you are a veritable pain in their asses. :):):)

Ask me again when the ultra-nationalistic BS on PF has stopped and certain people have learned to accept that the Polish version of history is not the only one out there.

When will it be? :):):)

So far, Iron and you are the only ones who got upset.

I didn`t get upset. I just supported Iron. Call it national solidarity. :):):):)

I prefer the slightly more elastic type, with some evidence of musculature.

Everything will be fine but could you please stop making constant references to Germans because it is really infantile and makes you look a bit obsessive which may be annoying to certain posters. :):):):):):):)

Has he also shaved his ass? (rhetorical qestion)

No, I don`t think he followed your example. :):):)

Very rarely can you see in Poland how police AT units surround the building and start a regular siege.
It happened in Sanok, a sleepy town in southern Poland, yesterday.

The drama had begun in the early afternoon on Thursday, after shots were fired at a police car at the site.
A 32-year-old man, who was due to be arrested on suspicion of murder, allegedly fired the shots from an apartment on the fourth floor of the block.

The man and what is believed to be a female friend then barricaded themselves in the apartment.

He looks better without it.

Yes. They say he looks gorgeous!

Let`s exchange opinions on the physical appearance of Polish well known men and women.

Politicians shall go first.

Robert Biedroń, left liberal party Parliament member .Poland politician.

How many Poles have you seen? :):):)

Poland should do the same, but before they acknowledge something like "Prussian Poland", "German Poland", "Russian Poland" (just following your wording from above here), hell will probably freeze over.

Come on, things are changing. Who denies that Germans built sth in Poland. I never did.
As for canals, some were built by Germans, other by Poles. What the heck? Who cares?

Polish ships and crews were an integral part of the Allied effort during WWII:

Yes, but it was done for British money so it doesn`t count.

And although millions of Poles were never sailors they wouldn't have made it to the Americas and elsewhere during the 20th century and prior if they had a fear of the sea and setting foot on a ship.

No, we can`t call them seafaring nation for making voyages to US.

endeed. Not only are they both port and coastal nations with longstanding seafaring traditions

Hey, that is really good!

However, Polish seafaring traditions are contained within the distance of 100 miles on average. British ones are a little bit further.
Let me guess. 300?

but each have established networks of canals used for both inland commerce and tourism.

I would never come upon this idea. Thanks.

Who built most of those canals in Poland?

Aborigines???

Life / News on driving in Poland [57]

Once in my lifetime I drove through Czechowice.
But we drive to the seaside almost each year. Yes, GPS warns about radars but I like it as it introduces nice variety into a long and boring journey.

Life / Advocating euthanasia routinely causes scandals in Poland... [63]

I agree.I'm pro euthanasia

When it is a fully delibarate choice of a person tired of life, after undergoing complex psychological tests. I can support it because free people mustn`t be constrained in deciding about themselves.

I am against euthanasia performed on people unaware of their condition.

Life / Poland's concord of cultures [86]

Hey, it is unfair. The Clash of Cultures thread reached over 250 posts while here it is so sluggish. Are there really no more concords? Expats, what did you find the same or very similar in Poland?

Probably, writing about obvious things is boring.

But, let`s try.

Both British and Poles have fascinating history.

s

Well, Americans and Australians, too, but less fascinating than the two above.
