The post war industrial world limited the ability of oligarchs to accumulate disproportionally vast wealth that world is now seen as a golden age.

The right forced deregulation and offshoring resulting in a much more precarious standard of living for the overwhelming majority of people while some got hyper rich.
The right are now calling for a reversal of the so called free trade they championed cos it doesnt work. This about face is matched by their championing of free speech something the right has always opposed.

Flavoured crisps...invented in Ireland.

What the Danish colonisers did was eugenics in a pure and unadulterated form, something they and their allies put Germans on trial for a few years before. Imperialism is wrong just like the creation of Panama for US domestic interests was wrong.

Partly right.
All Irish believe they are compatriots but they (DUP) don't tend to see themselves as compatriots, a recent development. But that is about Irish politics.

I'm not really an influencer but I tend to think of PiS as similar to a fundamentalist populist party we have here, the DUP.

It's interesting that my friends in Poland dislike PiS and they are quite conservative but not blinkered while a Polish woman here is a vocal supporter of Duda and his party. Its strange talking to her as she reminds me of people I knew in Spain who still mourned Franco. They both used similar language describing themselves as traditionalist rather than conservative or of the right.

Grasping at straws a bit there. If Poland and Germany thought either organisation wasnt fit for purpose they would leave them.

The reason for not enforcing ICC decisions is that Poland and Germany see criminals through a political lens just like the DDR and the PRL did.

Panama was created by the US in order to steal the land used to build the canal its a textbook example of imperialism. The problem is that your argument (genocide and all) justifies some planes hitting buildings ie might is right and all the whinging US people do wont change that.

Tundra means treeless...

Pointless arguing over how easy it would be, or otherwise, for the US empire to occupy other countries.

The real question is who benefits...clue it wont be the people of Greenland or the average burger munching joe in the US and A.

The US will expand its empire when it wants, screwing over non billionaires which is most people.
