UK, Ireland / Advice about UK life insurance options [27]

So you don't need to sign anything. Giving your body to uni is different as you don't give anyone your organs but whole body goes to students to practice , cut etc. The body is used for about a year after which it's buried with others in a ceremony

Food / What do non-Poles think about eating the following Polish foods? [1450]

I will try this

There is plenty of recipes online with different amount of sugar (I even saw one with 3 glasses of sugar!!!), whether the apples or fried or not etc.

We like the lazy option: rice cooked normally, fresh apples grated in the middle, sprinkled with some sugar and a tiny bit of butter on the top layer of rice.

I even started adding fresh veg to my ham and cheese toasti

And how many of you eat plain oatmeal? Older generation in my family call it child abuse :D

How so if you can opt out?

And to be fair I find more disgusting that people are so attached to their body that they will rather let it rot than save someone's life

I must admit that I've never seen raw veggies on a breakfast plate

My mom was incapable of making a sandwich without lettuce and some other veg, my sister would rather eat the salad than the main dish. I guess at some point it had to catch up with me :D

As to fish I must say Brits know what they are doing there :)

Scrambled eggs with ham or bacon and toasts.

You forgot the veggies. It wouldn't half as good without them!
But if we are talking English breakfast airs have my version: cooked sausage, hard boiled egg and again fresh veggies. Love it.

The second picture shows some fish in tomato sauce.

Mackerel :)

But since you mentioned English food...

Love / How do Polish men feel about gender equality? [780]

Allegedly, at any given moment, 10% of those brave fighting women are pregnant and puking?

Is sex forbidden in the army and are man soldiers celibate?

There are 20% more female doctors in 2019 than there were in 2012, and female doctors now make up 48% of the workforce. Both Scotland (53% female) and Northern Ireland (51%) have a greater proportion of female doctors in 2019 than England (48%) and Wales (46%).

Any data supporting that?

Wydział Lekarski Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego przyjął 75 proc. kobiet. Warszawski UM jeszcze nie policzył, ale w zeszłym roku studentek było 61 proc.

These figures are self-explanatory

The same as the fact that 40% of workforce was female so we are not talking about times when women were stay at home

2012 - 15%.
These figures are self-explanatory and show the "progress" women made in 43 years.

Not to mention that the numbers are the same for the whole society not only women so it means simply that the standard of living dropped or we put the poverty line higher.

And again if you think household should be supported by one adult why not advocate for the man to stay home? According to some of you it's such a great option that I'm sure most man will jump to it!

Btw, I have nothing against women that want to stay at home, I just think all women should go to work if they wish and have their partner do their share. And trying to depreciate women's work won't change that.
