Exactly - single digits or 26%, it doesn't really matter. Both numbers are political death in a city that usually gives mayors a free pass for at least a year. When every demographic turns on you - that's not a messaging problem, that's total failure. And you're right, Chicago will probably just swap him out for another disaster next election. Different name, same results.
Don Taco would kill for a 26% approval rating (or at least order somebody to kill somebody): his current average approval rating is -9.3% (although that average was driven by a single poll that gave him a 6% approval rating and so improved his rating from the -10.3% it was on Sunday).
