My problem is with the numbers. Once a country like Russia or the US goes to war for any reason, it should do everything possible to win it quickly by almost any means.
See Israel in 1967 and 1973.
Protracted wars lose support fast...See Vietnam. They didn't win. We lost...I remember those off-limits, idiotic rules...
Now Russia is doing the same thing.
