I do that with fruit preserves, but I don't when pickling , the sugar and vinegar kills most things, I use old pickle and bought beetroot jars sometimes I don't wash them if I recently used up the ingredients, not killed me yet.

part of water to half of vinegar plus salt and sugar.

add cut peppers to pickling fluid and boil for 10 mins , put it all in jars job done.

Don't waste the good stuff on pickling, I use the white vinegar from tesco, I cant tell the difference, if its a choice between Sarsons malt vinegar and aftershave Sarsons wins hands down:)

The sort people Poland needs (Investors) have lawyers and staff to do all that donkey work for them.

I paid lawyers to have all that bureaucratic red tape sorted for me, in the end some papers were sent to me to sign and return, Bang I was a polish citizen with a Polish birth and marriage certificate, job done.

Travel / Are Polish people as unfriendly as Slovaks? [84]

I holiday In the mountains and stay with a Slovak family at their horse ranch, great people , they lay on food and barbecues for free, also in winter the horse riding is free, we just pay for the cabins.

We have allot in common with the Slovaks and get on very well , also language is easy, as to which group is more friendly I cant say.

Service can be just as miserable as in Poland if that helps.
