I think he means that William doesn't sound as "posh" as his father - but hardly anybody speaks like Prince Charles any more. I would hardly call William's English "weak and watered down" - both he and his lovely wife are very well spoken and sound like the well-educated people they are..:)

Must agree with Lyzko though - English is only "easy" at a basic level.

something I can't do in English because of its stringent word order. For example, Mówi Maria, or Maria Mówi.

but English does not have a stringent word order at all. The word order in English is not at all stringent...
English word order stringent not at all is...(shurely shome mishtake ed)
Anyway good luck with "the hardest language in the world" ( forgetting all about Chinese, Japanese, Arabic etc etc)
Possibly what the OP meant was.."it's one of the more difficult European languages"

London is not the UK,its full of rude aggressive arse holes and wanna be compton gangstas...a sh!te hole in the bottom corner of a country

London is the centre of civilisation in the UK, compared to whichever provincial hellhole you have the misfortune of hailing from, full of fantastic people and amazing random conversations. And yes plenty of English people. Thank you.

To me, you sound rude and aggressive. is this a case of projection?

I dont think Polish people are rude they have a different culture and there is less insincere "Please" and "thank you"

forsaked make up... and CLOTHING ....would put u off your dinner Zimmy..;)
Seriously have you thought about moving to Germany..where its rare to see a woman (except prostitutes) staggering about in high heels or with her face covered with make up, to me this is refreshing, although I have heard nasty comments about this from other women such as "unfeminine", "lesbian" etc etc.

If you are over 50, please don't wear tiny trunks on the beach with your huge belly hanging over the top.

Don't overdo it with the grecian 2000 or the comb over, we know you are grey and bald.

Don't use stinky after shave , it's a real turn off.

If you have been brainwashed by machismo and are still single over the age of 40 you are probably a raging alcoholic, and smell like a brewery. In this case splash on the aftershave, but you will still stink.

Don't wear shirts undone halfway down so we can see your grey haired wrinkly chests.

Dont blame women for everything when you're young, middle aged or ancient like Zimmy xxx

Study / University degrees and schools in Poland. Not interested in the proof of my degree? [10]

ne even got asked to see their degree, had a CRB and so on.

I have had to show my degree many times, in private language schools in England. CRB is only necessary if you are asked to work with people under 16 (or vulnerable adults)(I think), and so I was asked for it only once, when engaged to work for an agency teaching ESOL in FE colleges. Private language schools have never asked for a CRB, as they are usually for 16 plus. I think if you were engaged on a summer school for teenagers, you are more and more likely to be asked for this. Although the reality is you are asked to sign a piece of paper saying you have no objections to being checked. (Have signed this few times) THen the schools don't check anyway as the process is very expensive. Quite honestly the whole thing is a farce.

As for teaching in Poland, when I was there, there were one or two right pervy types in town, lets just say I definitely wouldn't want them teaching my daughter..(or son) At that time people were teaching English without a degree or qualifications at all, let alone any police check. I daresay the situation has changed, and rightly so.

I don't really see that much would have changed in the last 12 years...to be honest.
Also your point about women retiring earlier and living longer might seem to favour women, but in fact being forced out of employment at a younger age, thereby being pushed onto a pension which is smaller anyway having made fewer tax contrubutions, simply impoverishes women further.

The thing is, scoring high in an IQ test means nothing, as is evident form the stupidity of this post. Alot of Polish, maybe like you, seem to equate "intelligence" with, for example, knowing the capitals of Europe or the chemical formula for sulphuric acid. Whearas real "intelligence" is more about getting on with people well. Which you obviously don't. (Incidentally the average Irish person is very well educated)

Do they? That's funny half my friends and family are Irish and they don't appear to hate me. Perhaps I should be told? (yeh and plus about 50 per cent of the English population)

and FYI,every school child over about 6 or 7 knows this in the UK......

blimey you must have gone to a good school...:) THE only people modern British school kids learn about are Nelson Mandela and Anne Frank...oh and that British guy who robbed Tutankhamun's tomb....

I am afraid to report that from my school education, we were under the impression that she was French and some kind of "assistant" to her husband..;(

I hasten to add my info is far better these days!
