2- reduce poverty - history making changes
3- income top up for parents - helps middle class parents do more like sending their kids to kindergarten
4- increase consumer spending and thus help small business and economy.
5. After Poland being fu**ed over since the 89, by the introduction of neoliberalism, it's a show of political respect by the government to the demos, that Poland can dream of being a civilised western state with the social spending that this includes.
Means testing: it should be set at a level that only excludes the top 10-20 percent, then the points of benefits stopping people getting pay rises and people kombinowac to receive benefits are moot, as are the stigmatisation issues. It would nullify the political argument that the money is being wasted on the rich.
I think we would have to start with the basics- what is this programme supposed to accomplish?

Funny not once in the last few years have you admitted the miraculous decreases in child poverty (thus saving lives!) thanks to 500+. just whine and complain about people taking holidays. lol

Besides in the west Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) with monopoly assets end with the asset returning to public hands at the end of the contract. I'm sure Jan Kulczyk (is he even dead?) bribed Kwasniewski with a typical FU to Poland post-communist arrangement, but the government has a lot of cards to play in terms of making the autostradas free, like in Germany,

Private highways owned by post communist oligarch are going to be made free, ie pay them a less money than individual polish citizens, negotiate the amount under threat of nationalisation, that's a pretty radical policy.
I just hope the next goverment is a coalition with partia razem rather than the neo-liberal konfa.

GDP growth, GDP per capita, unemployment, social mobility, inequality (gini coeficiant,) housing market, small business penetration, red tape, transparency index etc are equally if not more important.

I think it would be a smart move.

When my friends making 50K a month get another 1500 for three kids per month and you cant opt out,
