where is the festival?

I was referring to the upcoming Polish festivals in Southern California, including Yorba Linda, Los Angeles and San Diego.

vodka is rather for special occasions

My sis attended our cousin's Polish wedding a few weeks ago. Plenty of vodka was flowing. They had red vodka too. I didn't know such a type exists.

Plenty of Polish piwo will be flowing, both bottled & draft, at the Polish festivals in September:)

But Bud came out with Bud Lime

Do they still make it with clamato? I often see people adding tabasco to beer too.

I had visited the Roy Rogers/Dale Evans Museum in Victorville, CA, before it was relocated to Branson, MO
Saw lots of Roy's beautiful cowboy clothing. Too bad labels weren't visible. I'm sure a majority was probably designed by Rodeo Ben.

Rodeo Ben was known in the United States as the "Polish Cowboy." He worked for Wrangler Jeans Company, during the late 1940's. He tailored outfits for famous cowboys, such as Roy Rogers. He was born in Lodz, Poland in 1893. He died in Philadelphia, PA in 1985. His birth name was Bernard Lichtenstein.

I've included his photo, along with a vintage Wrangler advertisement & Rodeo Ben label. Is anyone familar with Rodeo Ben? Does anyone own any of the clothing items that he had designed?

Please don't change the topic of this thread, by associating his surname as being tied, to Jewish or German origination.

The sausage in the pic almost resembles Bratwurst. I say, take your pick of many of the delicious types of kielbasa available.

I buy delicious kielbasa at Gazzolo's Sausage & Deli. It's made fresh on the premises. They are located in San Bernardino, CA. The owner is from Poland :)

I think all shallow but pretty are like that anywhere and Poland is not a lonely island .

I agree with polmed. At the casinos, I tend to see many very young, attractive females, with much older men. They appear to be gold-diggers. Most of the geezers look old enough to be the dad.

The females included are Black, Asian, Latina, Anglo, Middle-Eastern, Native-American, etc.

"Polka Parade": it was the Sunday afternoon followup to "Lawrence Welk."

Lawrence Welk show is on PBS stations. The shows include lots of Polka music and dances.

Too bad few videos exist of it.

I'd love to be able to watch some good videos of Polka Parade.
