Life / Polish people are the most ignorant people in the world! [331]

what is it famous for

The story goes that in the late 19th or early 20th centuries a shipload of Polish immigrants had landed on America's shore and all had pre-paid tickets for Chicago. They boarded their train and were on their merry way.The following day one of the stops displayed a sign that read: Chicopee, Mass.

That was quite a mouthful for the immigrants, some of whom were illiterate even in their native Polish. They slowly read the sign. Chi-co-... and someone second-guessed them and wishfully shouted Chicago and they all grabbed their cases and disembarked. The train pulled away and there they stood in the middle of Chicopee. Lacking money for another ticket they had no choice but to settle there. The town is known for the world's largest kiełbasa, although that is hotly debated by the PolAms from Rogers City, Michigan.

CBOS poll

The latest CBOS poll has shown that Poles place the msot trust in Preisdent UDda, PM Szydło and Paweł Kukiz in that order. They have hte least confidence in Macierewicz, Kaczyński and Schetyna. For actual figures see link below:

he usually managed to make people change their minds

Invoking the conscience clause is the right of every Polish physician. And, as you say, he saved budding Polish lives throuhg his power of persuasion. More power to him!

misogynist

On the contrary, the screeching b*tch and witch brigade represent a fringe group very atypical of Polish womanhood. Polish women are to be respected and admired for their commitment, sacrifice, patience, dedication to home and family and all in all represent superior virtues and are far less egoistic than the male half of the population. Those typical Polish women are conspicuously absent from the noisy street spectacles.

questionnaire given to women

Perhaps the high inicdence in Scandinavia reflects the growing Muslim invasion?
If such studies were done let's say 20 years ago (when relatively few Muslims lived there), it might be good to compare the results.

repartee have a plural?

As far as I'm concerned since always. Repartees, ripostes, comebacks all have singulars and plurals.

One of your best comments ever!

You have clearly exposed yourself as one of the many PF-ers mainly concerend about thinking up clever repartees. Myself I prefer a serious, bread & butter discussion but some on here are always taking it off-topic or trying to turn everything into a joke or name-calling spree.

I can't find the link I used in the Gatesian labyrinth, but here is a similar one:

feminists

Poland is safest for women in the EU, report shows. An EU report has shown that 19% of Polish women have reported suffering physical or sexual violence, ranking Poland in 28th place in the EU. Over 40,000 women across the continent were polled in the survey.

The highest level of physical and sexual assaults was found in the Scandinavian countries (Denmark 52%, Sweden 46%) which have the highest Gender Equality index, with France and Britain not far beheind (44%).

radical feminist wing

TVP reported on Tuesday that a protest by pro-lifers near the entrance to the Warsaw tube on Monday was attacked with umbrellas by revved-up, aggressive, punching and screaming feminists who deicded to go beyond mere verbal abuse. Goes to show how KOD types cherish freedom of speech.

Merged: Screaming feminists take to the streets with hateful abuse

The radical feminist wing of the KOD trough-defenders' movement were out in force again screaming, screeching and spouting very unladylike vulgarities. "Freedom, equality and abortion on demand" - they chanted. One placard read: "PiS of sh*t" (without the asterisk!) They did not represent average Polish womenhood but a fringe or niche group of professional feminist agitators, career-obsessed and or loose-living females, Church-bashers and KOD operatives. Studies have shown that most Polish women are satisfied with the existing 1993 abortion compromise, attach the most importance to family and are practising Catholics. They would not talk about uteruses or other intimate parts in public the way the agitators do.

Rags like that loser Lis' Newspeak are not reliable sources as they do not impartially report the news but like GW (Gówniane Wieści) are seething with hatred and frustration and constantly on the lookout for things to badmouth the Good Change government with.

culture of life

GW is hardly a reliable source as it is seething with hatred and frustration over being sidetracked after a quarter-century of media monopoly and undeserved prominence. It will do and write anything to preserve the post-commie status quo which soemone has finally had the guts to challenge

Intermarium

Crow, you haven't replied to my quesiton wherther non-Slavs such as Lithuanians, Hungarians, Albanians, Romanians (linguistically latinised Slavs) and Austrians would be welcome in your hypothetical Intermarium!

Will the doors of your intermarium be closed to such non-Slavs as Lithuanians, Hungarians, Albanians, Romanians (linguistically latinised Slavs) and Austrians?

rule of law

The rule of law in every country serves those who pay the highest bribe. That's how it's been since time immemorial but only Macchiavelli actually codified it. The real purpose of politics is to get to power and stay there as long as possible. Only rarely does a govenrment motivated by noble, higher values come to the fore. Such a government is now led by PiS.

At present Poland

This was not about poltical parties but about freedom of speech which Poland enjoys. The free-speech-suppressing PC dictatorship has yet to take root in this country. Hopefully it never will.

PiS

The KODite pettifoggers may rant and rave that freedom and democracy are threatened in Poland, but an independent American research agency has found that Poland is second only to the US in terms of freedom of expression. In third place is Spain followed by Mexico, Venezuela and Canada. The UK is in 10th place.

A pettifogger and nitpicker could phrase it that way if he was desperate to blame someone. In actuality, it never even crossed my mind.

There are some people so revolting/disgusting that even pro-lifers would make an exception to have them scraped out.

apply it to everyone and all situations

And you know who opposed killing in any form: JP2. He condemned abortion, ethanasia, the death penalty and war. Ordinary people usually find some exception that fits their world view and say things like "I oppose capital punishment, but abortion is OK!"
