Actually Legs Inn is about 25 miles North of Petoskey.
I live around Torch Lake which is 50 miles South of Petoskey.

This weekend is the Boyne Falls Polish Festival which is about 30 miles Northeast of Torch Lake.
The Polka (beer) tent on Friday and Saturday night gets a tad rowdy and very loud with non-stop dancing.
Then Sunday afternoon is the Mud Run that is the highlight with 4-wheel drive vehicles pushing it to the limits thru 3 feet deep mud bogs.
It is a Redneck thing where we sit and drink beer and watch egotistical idiots destroy their vehicles trying to win a $25 trophy for bragging rights.

A lot actually.
When I first came here I had all intentions of visiting Poland for a month or two.
What I have learned here is that it would be a waste of my time and money.
I did learn however that Ireland would be much more fun, with people that actually give you eye contact, that smile, that the food is much much better than Poland's, people aren't depressing like as in Poland, nicer ocean views, more tourist friendly...........so in short, this site did save me about $6k from ever visiting Poland.
Ireland and Switzerland are on my near future list to visit now.
