Bronze in VNL goes to Japan. In half an hour it's USA vs Poland for gold. I'm sorry to say but I would bet for USA getting it. Won't stop me cheering for Poland though.

I would guess it has somethingto do with the fact that footballers seem to be unable to improve. Things seem to go well and then we have a huge crush.

I would guess that after years of fooling ourselves that Russia changed and is not a threat to other countries we were shocked into realising that they still want to attack neighbouring countries. All Ukraine really has to do is say 'It won't stop with us'.

3rd set much more even. Poland got it though.

American player got fair game card (?) After admitting a touch.
Also crowd gave a Polish player a big cheer when she got up after an injury at the end of set 3.

Fans is one of the reasons why I like watching volleyball.
