English teachers - 'functioning alcoholics with a superiority complex' [54]
I have a question for you and pawian.
Every single day, dailymail.com uses "frolic" and "flaunt" more often than I use fu*ck. Typically, it's about hot babes on the beach. My problem is that we don't use either word that much in the American press, so I am not quite sure what those words mean.
I mean, is "flaunting" a physical activity, state of mind, or a subjective way we see things. What does one do when flaunting?
Same thing with "frolicking". That one, too, seems to be a Britishism. Here in the US, we stand, walk, or run on the beach. Older and clumsier trip and fall, but I never "frolicked" and neither did my kids.
I need help only you can provide.
nice to see that Rich is spending even more time on PF now.
It's an act of desperation. Just went for a ride and realized that in emergency even restrooms are not accessible at the fast food joints.
