....and it works! Jordan is a peaceful, well working country....neither a religious nutcase nor an economic/violent mess, quite moderately successful...

The same pali arabs...but the difference to the Hamas ruled strips just across the border couldn't be more extreme...astounding!

....what I always found interesting is the fact that Jordan has quite amiable relationships with Israel....they have even treaties and such, maybe not friends but for sure not enemies!

A sure sign that "Palestinians" in Jordan have no problem with the Jews...can live with them peacefully....with the right leadership!

....but not as Palestinians....they had many names during their long history, as you yourself presented, and today one of their names is Jordanians....and I think that would be a way out for all parties, a chance for peace!

Na ja....Poland was very much in existence before the partitions, wasn't it? Or otherwise there wouldn't had been a thing to dissect....

There never was a real country Palestine whose liberation has to be fighted for and freed! The country Palestine will be shiny and new no matter how it comes into being...

The country Palestine is still a plan, since 1947, a plan made by the UN which destroyed the Arabs with a war themselves...

The region Palestine is much older.....and I doubt a sympathetic recognition of a plan of a future country cements or proves it's existence!

Hitler was an Austrian!

That's a main fail about nationalist stereotypes, putting it into ever changing borders....as if a community only a few metres left out of current borders can have totally different/even contrary characteristics!

Germany's borders changed so often, the old HRE was so much bigger, only for example....but somehow most of it's then citizens would never be compared to german stereotypes today...just because they don't fit into modern, actual german borders.

That way lays madness!

I truly come to believe that will depend on how an AfD led gov would (will?) handle the immigrant-crisis in Germany. Every survey says that is the absolute main bone of contention between a huge majority of our people and our gov...for years now.

Wars and climate crisis and everythinge else is really taking a back seat to that....

Our green/leftists surely expect from Tusk also a more leftist handling of the immigrants, since they have become a minority regarding this in the whole of Europe and look for support now from Warsaw, that should be interesting to watch if and how they will be disappointed!

Hmmm....I remember these old lectures as I was new to PF....was it Bibzi? Sokrates? Who told me how dumb and unwise and unfair to all our victims it is to make that distinction...as if the Nazis of old had nothing to do with us Germans!
