A.I. can be useful for work insofar as it can do very long tasks quickly though yes, it can be annoying.

Incidentally, it can knock out an Ericksonian Teaching Text (something I personally like and use) for almost any goal in seconds. If it can be used benignly for that, then it can be used very malignly indeed. Though not ChatGPT which is programmed apparently to be nice and ethical.

It's even writing orc propaganda online now. Much harder to spot since there isn't the language transference or avoidance of complex grammar.

And arguably mass share ownership with restrictions to stop large investors buying all the shares from retail investors.
