News / PiS candidates are losing positions in EU Parliament. Will they keep power in Poland? [358]

Poland but also reached European capitals. In result, Szydło was removed from her wanna be position like the flag. :)

If that is the truth that it means that either or both of those are true:
a. Poland is treated as subjected not full member/
b. PiS is not anti-European/

If you use my own words to you

I didn't use YOUR words. I asked you If you were a fool or a liar. You choose to answer in aw ay that make it obvious. In a way you choose that option. What to debate about? You choice?

not getting important positions in EU Parliament after recent elections and I did mean the EP only.

So what if you did? It doesn't matter and is not as if PO was sooo successful in that regard even thought they enjoyed a full support of Germany and were faithful lap dogs of the EU masters. You are just an as.hole who is trying to create a new reality just to get at the party you don't support. Poland and Polish and all the eastern Europe is treated in the EU as a second class members and that will not change even if some or other scumbag will act like a butler to them. That makes it even worse. Hey but you as a Soviet don't care about such detail eh?

Better go with a petty pointless nastiness.

no clue.

A fool then!

Szydło removing the EU flag?

A Gesture to electorate meaning that in Poland Polish interest take precedence over Brussel's.

The whole Tusk re-election fiasco?

Making show of a fact that Poland don't support that prick and he is a German candidate. How any of those make PiS anti-European?

They're just nasty venal people, bullies who can dish it out but can't take it.

hmm have you ever hah a disagreement with a KOD member or a PO member about politics? I would say they are even more like that, PiS is an improvement, not a big one but still.

anti- European PiS party i

What is wrong with you? Why do you lie about PiS being anti-euroapen? You're either a fool or a shameless liar.

not getting important positions in EU Parliament after recent elections.

they are not important position in the EU Parliament as it is only a place without power or anything to say in the EU. Hence those 'important' positions are just hollow sinecures - that all. Also election means nothing as who take what is being decided behind the curtain talks.

Ingrate hypocrites! I

Boo hoo welcome into politicks dude. are u that naïve or that dumb? Ah, could you give us an example how exactly PiS spit in the EU's face, one or two would do,.

eally popular in the countryside and small towns, especially in Eastern Poland,

Still dividing voters onto better and worse groups. If they share your voting preference then they qualify into so called 'better' category ? Pretty primitive approach that. Fitting Soviets like you do the core.

Excellent candidate

Ditto, the EU needs more people like her in prominent positions.

Life / Why Polish singers are not popular abroad? [95]

why aren't there any Polish-based singers to make it big internationally?

hmm ...what do you mean internationally? Define it? Think it over will you?

For a couple of decades the international market has been dominated by the American pop and it entertainment industry, if you wanted to make it big you had to make it big in the USA. That trend is changing, maybe not so much in Europe but elsewhere.

I find you question to belong the same category (weird and useless) as why there is no Polish actors in the Hollywood. Poland ain't America dude, duh!

A More serious answer so called language barrier.

Inna and Alexandra Stan

By the way. Never heard about them. You should reconsider your approach as you basic assumptions are false.

History / Why did Hitler call Poles Half Jews? [98]

where does the olive skin and brown eyes come from?

From green pastures. geez...
First off there not that many people in Poland with features you describe.
Second those are just people that belongs to a subgroup of white Europeans.
Mongols call from Mongolia and are Asians that are kind of yellowish brown not olive. Beside those small raids that you heard about were all about kidnapping young men and women to sell them as slaves in the Ottoman empire. So any DNA admixture was other way around than you imaging.

Pulling an explanation from your ......, thin air is never a good idea.

Many Poles though are well known to have high cheekbones,

Many Americans share that feature. Hell some of them look complexly Asian or black .... lots of them Americans look like a total mutt hey why would that be? lol you are a troll..

History / Why did Hitler call Poles Half Jews? [98]

'half-jews'

I have never heard about it. It is obviously some nonsense.
By the way who cares what Hitler said? I mean that dude talked all the time generally some outlandish BS. Intelligence of Germans is greatly overrated.

share of Tatar and Mongol genes.

No, they don't that BS. Not millions of Jews but lots, No, majority of residents in Lwow were Polish people.

What tribes? In the context make no sense. Geez, I'm sure there are plenty of good book about history of Poland in English. If you cannot be bother o look it up and read some at least stop spewing nonsense.

Language / Game - guess Polish idioms/sayings in direct English translation [1756]

After thinking some more about this,

Chemikiem, pawian is misleading you. From Saxon to Las. i.e. From the elected King of Poland August II ( Elector of Saxony, the Wetting dynasty) to King Stanislaw Leszczynski ( In 1725 Stanisław's daughter Marie Leszczyńska married Louis XV of France. ) during the northern war Poland was in turmoil fighting a civil war with some supporting August II and others supporting Stanislaw I.

Here some wiki info:
the provinces of Lorraine and Bar for life.
In Lorraine, Stanisław proved to be a good administrator and promoted economic development. His court at Lunéville became famous as a cultural centre, and he founded an academy of science at Nancy and a military college. In 1749 he published a book entitled Free Voice to Make Freedom Safe, an outline of his proposed changes in the Polish constitution.

Three city.

I start to doubt your claims. I doubt you have been living in Poland for about 30 years and I suspect you lied about your circumstances too. Good job you had some of us on PF fooled for a while. Now your game is up, just get lost. Geez what a looser. ...

History / Communism fell 20 years ago, Poland led the fight since WW2 [341]

PiS government is accused of authoritarian inclinations

By inept politicians who lost an election. You can call them sore losers. The same people who for the last four years have been unable to offer voters some attractive alternative. All they do are slinging mug and accusation. Half wits and cretins. As I say they have no class, no brains and no standards. All they have are big shameless mugs.

the defeat of communism in Poland because it wasn`t as spectacular as in other countries,

Maybe because communism fell but commies slayed pretty much in charge.

decent people don`t want to celebrate together with them.

They are not that decent if they are willing to celebrate with the members of KC PZPR.

You said:

the EU is run by people who are appointed by member states,

I asked you about who are you talking about? |what people? Tusk wasn't appointed by Poland and yet he become a butler. So who exactly appointed him IF he wasn't appointed by Poland?

The big weakness off the nationalists you can count on....unable to work together! ;)

That is simply not true. Of course we are talking (I'm talking) about nationalist as those who support a national state. On the other hand your optic is Marxist.

Yet again nonsense and slogans. Is that even mean anything? Dream about European Imperium rules by some unaccountable pen pushers by the rule of thumb is just dumb and won't work. Forcing on the people some LGBT, progressive cultural revolution is tyranny. The only EU that would survive is some kind of less totalitarian, less bureaucratic and Marxist free Europe.

Genealogy / What are common Polish character traits? [425]

I met this idiot

You seems to meet a lot of idiots or ghetto dwellers and some bottom feeders. I just wonder why is that? Are you some kind of social worker or you just rub your elbows a lot with this kind of people

Polish character traits.

I don't believe that such a thing as character traits for a whole nation exist. There some common character traits for a country dude to some specific circumstances and issues generally speaking. Talking about inheriting those or some of those traits due to DNA is a folly or nonsense.

"How dare you talk to us like that."

You think? Try other website in different countries and see what you find there. Not to mention Russia, China, Israel or Korea. If you think that Polish people are touchy it means you don't experienced much beside your own backyard.
