Greeks should face fact that they themselves originate from Thracians. When they once face that fact they would, with time, have to accept truth that Thracians and Sarmatians were one and same Proto Slavic ethos.

he was Proto Slav (Sarmatian) same way as Arcturus Castuc (King Arthur Pendragon) still was Sarmatian when he served Rome. some aspects of modern day Polish genetics for sure keep prof for Polish Thracian ancestry. Population of Poland coming from the so called `Balkan Ice age refugium`. People was slowly dispersed along the Danube river after ice age was finished. Plus, much later, in what is today`s Poland, two branches of Proto Slavs combined- one from Balkan (SRB/Sarmatians) and other from Ukraine (ROS/Scythians)- another ice age refugium. Danubian group populated what is today`s Poland approximately 4000-6000 years BC and other group from Ukraine started to arriving there in around 3000 BC. People then changed direction of migration and started to go eastward so, genetics says that modern day Russia was actually populated from Poland.

But please, keep in mind that Thracians were Proto Slavs, same ethos as Sarmatians/Scythians. Scythians themselves were branch of Sarmatians. Dacians, too. So, Poles are Sarmats and also Thracians in the same time. Those were two designations of same Proto Slavic people.

i don`t know is it best sounding but, what i can tell and can confirm, Polish language is reality. Its important Slavic language. In my country (Serbia) Polish language is more important then German language or even English. i mean, practically every Serbian speaks English but, its just necessity for computer and business communication. Russian language is also popular for business reason and due to strong Serbian connections with Russians in our mutual resistance to NATO and Islamic expansion and to EU monopoly.

But Polish language is something else. Its deeply emotional process with Serbs and Polish language. For us, its language of our world, language of what we understand as core of our Sarmatian civilization. Elementary knowledge of Polish language is very important to Serbs. Serbs wouldn`t feel comfortable without presents of Polish language in their lives. If just that Croatia and Bulgaria aren`t German satellites and if those countries could be able to follow Serbian example, Polish language could dominate whole region instead of German and English languages.

Poland had to be aware of historical `Drive to the East` (Drang nach osten) perpetrated by Germanics against Slavs in general. Meaning, Poland had to refrain itself from any provocation of German state (even as respond on German provocations!). Furthermore, it means that Poland mistaken when allied itself with France. It was tragic mistake. That way Poland endangered Germanic interests on France what installed Russia (in the eyes of Germans) as natural allay against Poland.

Also, France had its own interests against Russia (as all countries from west of Europe- `Drive to the East`). So when Poland allied itself with France, Poland actually challenged Russia. Situation on Baltic didn`t help and Poland become problem to Russia. i really don`t think that Russia initially had any interests to see Poland destroyed or even to work against Poland. From the Russian point of view Poland was rather seen as rogue state (being Slavic and that way naturally confronted with enemies of Russia who could try to invade Russia) on the volatile and dangerous Russian western borders. Russia had (as it has today) all possible interests that Poland exist and that Poles live.

Let us go back to France. In struggle for her strategic interests France relied on Britain and both of them very directly allied itself with Islamic factor. Same goes for German schemes with islamists. Because of all of this Poland was in very strange and bad situation, having France and Britain for friends and Germany for enemy. Especially if we have in mind that Poland, defending her zone of influence on Slavic Balkan, directly confronted Turks (Islam). Now, instead to work together with Russia regarding Slavic Balkan (there where their interests overlap and goes hand in hand), thanks to Britain and France, Poland refused coordination with Russia (or Russia turned its back to Poland having now her own obligations to Britain, France and Germany).

But, just look what happening today on Balkan, Mediterranean, in Europe and how history repeat itself. What would Poland choose these days in attempt to support defenders of Polish/Slavic zone of influence on Balkan (Serbians)? What would Poland do now when Islam openly attacking (not only Balkan), when Britain, France and Germany coordinate (against Slavs) with that advancing Islam?

i think that split of Christianity and divisions (even antagonism) among the Christian Churches had enormous impact on Poland`s strategic situation and on power of Poland.


i don`t see Poland as strategically irrelevant country (nor Turkey of course) but, you said here in this reply of yours one other great truth. That is, ``in the case of Poland the collapse was much faster due to lack of protectors``. This remind us that Poland failed to choose her friends wisely but was/is regularly giving her trust to false friends and, on the other side, Poland was ready to confront very strong opponents. In that situation one simple must exhaust his strength.

Now, when you mentioned Turkey, it seams that there are historical tendencies that Britain, France and also Germany much more tend to support and cooperate with Turkey then with Poland.

actually, Serbians greatly contributed to the strengthening of medieval Poland. shall i remind you of winged cavalry tactics (Gusar > Hussar) that was by Racowie (Serbians) introduced in Hungary and Poland? But, only in Poland that skill was implemented in its full potentials. Cavalry doctrine of Polish Hussars was further transferred on all European countries and even to the USA. BDW, wild west was `conquered` thanks to that cavalry tactic.

Half of Serbian regions were (as it was case with most of Hungary) under the Turkish occupation for 180 years and other half was under the occupation maximally for 350 years. Some regions never experienced Ottoman occupation. Serbian lands were border region between Austro-Hungaria and Ottoman Empire and border constantly changed its position. All in all, thanks to Polish, Ukrainian and Russian support we survived and repelled the invasion.

If Germany continue to weakening Poland over Silesia, we Serbians would be very useful to Poland. in 24 hours of eventual hostility and classical German mistake, there would be at least 10.000,00 Serbian veteran fighters. i suggest, use them for night operations behind enemy lines (as i already said once- let them just work with knives). i agree to it. Its definitely one of internal reasons. Polish understanding of freedom was actually far more advanced for that historical momentum. So foreign factor took advantage in internal Polish turmoils that occurred.

i know what are you talking here. As a Serbian i understand well what those loses means. In WWI, Serbia lost 16,11 % of its population. Those were greatest casualties in WWI by one country. Then, speaking of Serbian loses in WWI add to those percents number of Serbs outside of Serbia (in other Serbian lands on Balkan) and you can just imagine what were total Serbian loses just in WWI.
