You are not prepared, as I am, to admit that some of my family were overtly anti semitic.
I am not discussijg the reasons why.
I want to at first establish that this was a fact amongst many Poles of my fathers generation.
Once we establish that FACT.
We can then discuss the reasons why that may have happened.
Until we reach that point, that discussion is over.

We need to admit that a small number of Poles were anti semitic.( I will count some of my family in there).
But we also need to aknowledge that a huge number of Poles gave up their lives and often their families lives, to save Jews.
Ask the Jews.... they will tell you
I hate all this Polish bashing from ignorant people that could not possibily understand the situation of Polish people in those horrendous times.
Using todays "standards" to judge peoples actions over 75 years ago is just wrong.

I know many vegetarians, from a country that I will not name, that look exactly like that, but have very skinny legs and are vitamin deficient, especially vitamin D.

I think this whole thread is pretty disgusting.
As I posted in the Serbian thread, there were bad guys on all sides.
But WW2 in Poland was particularly disgusting due to the extreme barbarity of the Germans and Russians.
People tried to survive and sometimes survival was more important to them than morality.
It is easy for us to judge them now, in the comfort of our homes and comfortable lives, but it does not gain us anything.
There were some bad Poles, just as there were some bad Jews.
But in the main, people tried to do the right thing.
And in any case, we are certainly in no position to judge them.

Their look is abnormal and all that muscle will turn to unhealthy fat as they get older and can no longer keep up their exercise regime.
Oh, but there is.... to keep a healthy, balanced diet.
I think it is obvious to all of us now that you are a vegan extremist.
Let us agree to disagree.Most people will disagree with you.
Meat eating will not disappear for generations... if ever....your views are just not held by most people.

I prefer the thin and crispy Italian base, hate the thick doughy ones.
Has to have tomato sauce( not ketchup ) and Mozzarella ( or similar cheese ).
My toppings are pepperoni, anchovies, mushrooms and hot chillies.
Vegetables on a pizza does not work for me.

I Really liked your Lady Pank plus guests post.
Most "Westerners" will hear a slight Reggae/Ska influence to the rythmn but although the band might have leant slightly that way, the tune has a very traditional Polish rythmn, which was shown to great effect near the end when the accordian kicked in.
My dad and many of his peers loved accordian music.
