What we don't know is how the hell you managed to decrease the value of your property by 4.5% in a single year when the average for your area was a 20% increase. The broken-down white pick-up truck and the outdoor bath don't exactly add value, and neither do the piles of rubbish so big they can be seen by satellite, but actually taking money off the value of your house in a booming market is little short of mildly impressive. It's up there with being wrong six times in a row about whether Boeing's share price will go up or down.


Back in the real world, you should really buy some tarpaper and nails, the leaks in your roof aren't going to fix themselves. The condition of your shack is only going to get worst, and the value only going to go down further, if you don't do some maintenance on it.
