For all the Polish members that may not know that today, July 4th is America's Independence Day from Britain.
On July 4, 1776 this document announced the separation of the 13 North American colonies from Great Britain.
We told the Brits to keep their noses over across the pond and mind their own business or we would kick their asses again.
One more reason we love our Guns, Bibles, Beer and big loud Trucks to celebrate our Independence from inbred leaders.

I wish you would have told me this BEFORE I made what I thought was only our personally owned stocks.
I could have tried to be clever like Hairy and picked BRK @$727,000 a share but more likely picked six of the seven magnificent seven stocks.
Those are a sure bet.

The difference is that a byrna pistol is effective up to 60 feet or 18 meters.
Letting a perp get close enough to grab your throat or your can of pepper spay is not a good choice.
Especially a woman that is out weighed by a bad guy by 45 kilo's.
At 18 meters to be able to incapacitate a threat, of any size, you stand a chance of not only escaping unharmed, but also not getting any chemicals like mace or pepper spray on yourself.

Picture Paulina with one......."I feel threatened now turn your slimy ass around and beat feet", (the perp keeps advancing) splat, splat, splat as his eyes feel like they are on fire and he can't see.
She slowly walks over to the guy and kicks him in the groin and when he hunches over she grabs him by the back of the neck with both hands pulling his head down in front of him and her knee comes up forcefully and catches him under the chin and lays him out cold.

I know if I saw a man raping a woman or child I would have no problem ending the threat quickly and permanently.

Maybe Europe could start out with non lethal force before they moved up to reasonable force to stop an attacker.

Have you thought about giving back some of what you have taken by donating some of your time to people that would benefit from it ?
I use to volunteer two days a week at a hospital taking handi capped patients in a wheelchair to the department that they needed to go.
Up the elevator, down the halls and made their life much easier.
Met lots of nice people doing it and it made me feel useful.
Another volunteer job I once had was volunteering at a senior center helping in the kitchen preparing lunch.
Met a lot of nice people there also and found out they had the same problems that I had.
Talking about it with them was good therapy for me.
Now I come here and get diminished, insulted and shamed by a bunch of inferior morons which is nothing more than depressing.
Get my drift ?

Chicago is experiencing the same temperatures this week as Warsaw is.
Next week will be even hotter.
The Northern States have been just as hot as the Southern States lately.

Almost every home, store, car and restaurant in the U.S. has A/C.
