Chris Gets Dumped on the Bachelorette for Being Polish!

Polish people always get rejected once they are found out. It is sad. No one wants to have anything to do with a Pole. I have no doubt now that all the discrimination I thought I might be imagining is real.

I have to say though, he has this energy that is really annoying and off putting despite him being good looking and everything.

you know I like you but I have to disagree with you here. People get rejected for all kinds of reasons but not for being Polish (not generally).

White Americans think people are not American just because Polish is their culture! As soon as they get this "feeling" that someone isn't completely like them they stay away. They're not even consciously thinking that they're rejecting them because they're Polish.

Not because of their Polish culture but because Poles in the US, usually live together in their little communities and avoid contact with Americans. Those of you who want to mingle with us, don't have any problems. I've met a lady from Chicago who lived here for over 30 years and she barely spoke English and she's not alone, I'm sure you know it too.

Can we just point out that Arie is Dutch and his family had accents such that Emily could barely understand them at point. They spoke Dutch IN FRONT OF HER when she had no idea what they were saying (which is rude in any language), and he was still chosen. It's not about the "foreignness" of Chris. It's totally an antiquated idea that Poles are discriminated against in America for being Polish. It doesn't work that way anymore. We're way too busy discriminating against minority groups that don't look white.

Dutch people are ok, because they're "Western" European and not foreign to Americans in the same way Poles are.

Nah I don't think he got dumped for being Polish. He got dumped because he was the least attractive, period.

Yeah, that's probably true. She didn't seem very attracted to him. The sister probably noticed this and that's why she told her to let him go. He was more attractive than Jef IMO though when you take away the nervous energy and sensitive personality. If I were in her position I would have probably picked Arie in the end, Sean has no personality and seems very boring to me, despite being the best looking.


People who don't have an exciting life lol. My sister and her group of lawyer friends have a girl party every week and watch this show together.

bebe25 is right. Chris Bukowski is a good looking guy. I'm sure he has no trouble attracting women.

That's not what it was, earlier in the show she admitted that he was good looking; there was just something about him that she wasn't as attracted to. Probably that he's sensitive and came across as kind of a nut. He also came across quite stand-offish, which wouldn't be a good quality in a father figure for Ricky. Most women don't like men who are too sensitive either. Women are just more attracted to certain men than others. It could be any number of things- pheremones, looks, personality etc. He just has to find the right kind of woman for him, some do well with a sensitive personality.

Your non-stop bitterness is food for my soul. Seriously, never change. My mom watches that show like she's waiting for God to send her a message. The dude they had as the last bachelor-- er, "Bachelor", was way too frat-boyish. Not that I watched. I didn't! He was on Jimmy Kimmel. See? I'm dialed in, man. I know what's going on.

I haven't, fairly obviously, seen the show in question. However, I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that this gentleman's Polishness was never mentioned as ground for ditching him and that it was never mentioned in any negative light at all at any point. In fact I'd probably be willing to bet that his Polishness was presented in nothing but a positive light.


What is sad is that some 'Polish' people always claim that they fail due to other people being racist.

I was kind of semi-joking when I made this thread? Why does everyone on here take these things so seriously? It's just a dumb show.

Chris is an attractive man, I kind of get the feeling that emily is a little biased because she likes southern men. She wants to continue her southern bell legacy. I think she's going to go for sean for that reason. She just kept Arrie on there over Chris because he's a race car driver.

Chris didn't get the rose on the 2 on 1 date and that was the beginning of the end. His family was just a regular Joe Shmoe family and frankly a little boring.

Emily is a typical southern all American girl from West Virginia trailer park territory. Although I thought the band and dancing was great it's just not something she understands or appreciates.

Emily is probably looking to be in the spot light. Just look at her surgical enhancements and the amount of makeup she wears. Why be with Chris when you could be with Ari Luyendyk... son of famous and wealthy Indi Car Champion.

I'm not crazy. I was joking when I wrote the thread. Emily wants to be in the spotlight and continue her southern bell legacy, I said this a million times. Even though Arie is not very American, he's a race car driver and that's enough to continue her southern bell lifestyle. She lost attraction to chris long before she dumped him. Her portraying Ricky as the center of everything is only supposed to distract from her real intentions about wanting to be more famous.
