Pilsudski should have focused on stabilizing Poland instead of picking border conflicts with its neighbors.
He did stabilize Poland, i'm not going to teach you polish history if you know polish google sejmokracja and you'll learn just how stable Poland was (and it was).
BTW where did Germany get the money to rearm after the German depression of the 1920's?
Pilsudski should have focused on stabilizing Poland instead of picking border conflicts with its neighbors.
Poland never had any guarantee with Bolsheviks on its eastern border and I think they lay claim to Poland as it use to be a Russian empire so the war was a war of necessity.
That is your history lesson, if you want to know more visit your local book store.
I'd agree with that but Piłsudski himself knew of the forthcoming danger and had an awful sense of foreboding! Stable is a good word but security was paid lip service to by RS, his successor. That opened the door for destablisation but not from within, of course.
No it will not be faster just look at the equipment Poland has
I just took a look at the map of deployment of German and Polish forces in September of 1939 and this time it would not be an end of Germany or anything like that, but now Poland has a much better chance to succesfully defend herself than she had in 1939, at least we don't have to worry about the northern and southern flank plus they have to make over the Oder river. It would be nice though to upgrade the air defence with russian s 400 systems so we can hit hitlerowców soon after they take off in Germany.
They maybe as skilled and as courageous as any other soldiers, but that stupid boy scout salute needs altering. Big hefty blokes giving a boy scout salute, just makes me roll up laughing.
Things are simple here. Very. International order was/is violated. Its clear. No order. Now again things stays like before WWI, as always, after all. This isn`t era for the weak. Weak shall perish. Strong shall survive. Winner will write history.
So, my Polish sisters and brothers, arm yourself. Make Poland strong. And do it fast. You have it in yourself, that war-craft. You are from a lineage of Sarmatian finest.
Brace yourself Poles, Islamists are in the move. It starting its final stage that involves Poland.
In a region close to responsibility of Polish Zawisha Czarny motorized brigade in seceded Serbian province of Kosovo, started tribal clashes among rivaling Albanian clans from Albania and Kosovo. Initial conflict started over road toll that was set on highway that connects Albania and Kosovo.
Add to this newest Albanian (Shquiptar) provocation of local Kosovo Serbs, Serbia and also Macedonia and you get picture how is deteriorated security of Polish troops in the region.
what period are you looking at? some historical one or modern uniform? combat ("polowy") one or one for official thingies ("galowy" or "wyjściowy") like parades etc?
if it's the first one than they use just the standard, crappy uniform, they have all moved to uniform wz 2010
Please tell me more. I have several friends from this unit I need to locate
You ask, on Kosovo, I suppose?
You have friends in that Polish brigade on Kosovo? Sorry for that, man. What I know they are located on border between Serbia (province Kosovo of Serbia) and Macedonia. Most volatile region. Shquiptars (Albanians) killing each others and hunt local Serbs. Kosovo separatists provoke Serbia every day and Serbia is about to respond. Many Shquiptars are ISIS returners. Its even questionable how deeply is NATO united in the region. Region is bomb that just wait to explode. In the middle of all this are Polish troops on Kosovo. Afghanistan is joke for this situation.
Poland got green light from the US for the purchase of 96 Apache attack helicopters together with 1,844 Hellfire missiles, 460 AGM-179A Joint Air-to-Ground missiles, 508 Stinger 92K Block I missiles and 7,650 WGU-59/B Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II (APKWS-II) Guidance Sections rockets and access to U.S. training staff:
"Until the Boeing-made helicopters are ready, Błaszczak said on social media late Monday that the U.S. army had agreed to supply existing aircraft from its own resources in the meantime."
