The attached photo is of a Polish Army group. My wife's Grandfather is one of the members. We know he was in Pułk Radiotelefraficzny but we are not sure what year this was and if it is a regular Polish army unit or maybe an underground unit towards the end of the war. Can anyone help identify the group?

Located where exactly during the war??? Fighting in the Eastern or Western front? Looks like they were in Anders` army.

We don't know but suspect it would have been the western front in the area of Poznan or Wroclaw. We have no details of the circumstances of the photo. We were hoping that someone with knowledge of uniforms may be able to draw some information from the photo. It seems significant that there are a mix maybe signifying an underground group.

No. By the Western front I mean the one where Western allies fought - in France and Western Germany. Poznan or Wrocław was the Eastern front. Polish soldiers were in both fronts.

Quite possible.
However, it is also possible they are a Pollsh partisan unit fighting in Yugoslavia. Some of these guys remind me of Yugoslavians with their dark complexion and hair.
