Looking for a great new novel to read about Polish WWII History?

A recently published book, One Star Away, about the author's Polish mother & family and their World War II exile to Siberia, escape to a Polish Embassy, and then traveled with the Polish Army to Iran, and then on to India. It is available on Amazon and there are a ton of great reviews out there already. An amazing book that I highly recommend!

without vodka travels in wartime Russia - look it up on amazon i dont think it was ever translated to Polish but written by some guy like rich or novichok who emigrated to America and wrote it in English later. amazing book. it is a Polish guy btw all in all.

Anything written after 1960 on Polish WWII history is propaganda. Don't waste your time. Dig into old Poland history books or rather non-published notes and hand-written letters if they haven't burnt them yet.
