searching in vain it seems for my Polish roots. My Great Grandmother was Paulina Dobruszkiewicz ( sister Michalina ) born in Holynka, Poland.. My Great Grandfather was Jan Brzezicki- not sure where he was born or what ever happened to him. They immigrated to America ( Lived in Chicago ) in 1908. Their daughters were; Paulina ( my Grandmother ), Marian, and Izabel. --- Paulina & Michalina's mom was named Mariana Adeszko.
