E&B, you're just hot! With proper makeup, you can play pretty much any ethnicity, to be honest. ;>

Hello again : )

This is my Grandfather, I miss him so much.

Celinski, is that an army issued photograph?
He is very similar in appearance to my late grandfather as well. Very intelligent and dignified look to him. I mourn him like I mourn all our Polish brothers and sisters.

people write strange things in this thread - for example about a typical Polish body... there are all kinds of people in Poland and only some of them look slavonic. i have many friends that look Spanish etc. If you saw them abroad you wouldn't tell their nationality. gereneralising things is sometimes stupid

True, but indeed there are some patterns that can help you indicate whether a person is Slavic, and within that, Polish, Russian or Serb.

I look very much like my grandfather who is 100% polish. The poles in his family have black hair, dark eyes, high cheekbones, prominent eyebrows, and they're all tall and husky. The women are tall and curvy, though. My older sister resembles the polish women on my grandmother's side. She's short, blonde, blue-eyed, curvy, and her cheekbones are not as prominent. I don't believe that your looks are based on which region of Poland you come from. No, I think it all has to due with the fact that before these countries ever existed, people were spread out and then came to one place to live. Because of that, everyone can look different no matter what area of the world they come from. That's why not all Germans are blonde and blue-eyed and why not all Danish people are blonde and blue-eyed, either.

ikey - sounds like you need to repost your comment in the Polish Relationships area, under its OWN thread for help, dear!

I'll give MY personal opinion, take it or whatever, but my feelings: most of us Polish families are Roman Catholic, and get the guilt trip laid onto us heavily. After four years, you should be in already married! Seems like you are both wasting precious time, by making things feel all iffy. Just make her an honest woman. That is my take on it, but my opinion is worth only what it's printed on (but from the knowledge of what her family is pressuring her about).

I definitely look like my dad, and his side of the family, and our ancestors. I miss my daddy very, very much...and wish I had a little girl and boy to take after me, tell about our history to. But I need to be married first.

find the Polka(s)

The blonde is the one who resembles me, the most out of the group. However, I'd have to say all of the above are Polskas.

The 2nd from the left standing is polish for sure. Also the one sitting next to her, touching her with the arms.(the first from the left with the hat).

I am not sure about the blonde sitting, first from the right.I would tell she is not polish.
