Does beer have any "real" expire date?

How can we sell more beer?
Put a experation date on it.

Beer does go bad, but it takes many years IMO

They do that so you can tell your wife that you really don't want to drink it but you have to because the date on it is going to expire. :-)

Thats if you have beer sitting around that long....Not by me! haha

I used to have a beer can collection when I was a child (seriously) and years later when I was in high school I found the box in my parents garage.

It was the most rancid tasting thing I can remember!

So you admit that you have been dinking beer since you were in high school.
They didn't have the "best before date" on beer back then so if it didn't taste rancid it was good to go.
I heard that one swig of rancid beer stops brain development even if you spit it back out.

Beer in Germany has expiry date.

How about a warm Haams or Budweiser🤮

This expiration date could be a sales gimmick just to get ppl to drink it faster and sell you more.

Does anyone even look at the, "Best before" date ?
I gave up my Red Stripe.
It went from a 12 oz. bottle to a 11.2 oz. bottle and then it went from $24 a case to $30 a case.
They can keep it, I'll make my own and put the 'Best before Date' as best before dinner, during dinner and after dinner, on hot days, after a hard days work, watching sports on t.v., socializing with friends, and any other time I feel like having one. :-)
