Why are there so many on here, who do not like Poland

Becuase most of the people on here don't live in Poland would be my answer, that is in fact if there are a lot of people who dislike Poland. It would be a good topic for a pole(no pun intended).

I wonder what polish people living in Poland would think of Polish forums? Maybe there are some here who can tell us?

Merged: Why come on here if you Don't like Poland or it's people

I don't understand why people make such effort to go on a forum of whom the people and country they dislike just to slagg it off? Personally i have been there quite a few times and find the People very hospitable and a very beautifull country. I love it there.

The fact is every country has good and bad people, good and bad areas and good and bad points, so if your only on here to slagg it off or moan, go do something better with your time.

I'm on here for help and advice not to read peoples dislikes about it

Thanks

This could be very true lol Make an effort on something you like, why waste time and energy on something you dislike

I don't think it's meant to be a collection of unfaillingly positive things however those who come on just to be negative are every bit as bad as those who come on just to uncritically praise.

Not sure i agree with that, Didn't realise being possitive about somewhere is bad. I understand everyone has their own opinion but sometimes if you have nothing good to say at all ever then why comment

Very well said. I totally agree. If you're not Polish, and you're just here to insult people and make ignorant racist comments, please get lost!

Sadly, until the moderators start handing out suspensions and barring people, those people are free to keep on doing so.

Exaclty constructive criticism is different and if your Polish then you have a right to say what you think but if your not Polish and havn't had much experiance especially living there, what right do you have to slag it off

I kind of see what your saying but you are getting onto very thin ice with that statement. Fortunately everyone has a right to express an opinion....

The ones who come here and say bad things about a place secretly wish they could fit in and belong but feel they can't so they react with bitterness.

Yes but some people never have anything good to say and only negative things. Alot of people i've seen comment never even lived there, now really how can you have a valid opinion about certain things if this is the case

You wont find to many Pole bashers outside of the UK's shores, answer: because millions of them are within our shores effecting the lives of working class people. If Germany opened their borders to Polish immigration following Poland's EU accession you may have witnessed similar German trolls over forums such as this.

There are racists in every country. It's just a tiny minority of British

Pole bashers

that have to come on PF because;

Some people like to moan and wind people up

People with no life.
And
Frustrated with their own miserable lives

As for:

effecting the lives of working class people

Who were on the dole scrounging benefits long before the Polish came along... Immigrants are an easy target for the scumbag tabloid press. Next year they will target Romanians and Bulgarians.

Germany opened their borders to Polish immigration

You are obviously not aware that Germany has as many migrant Polish workers as the UK, if not more - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poles_in_Germany

That wiki link doenst say much about immigrant workers, besides i expect many of the Polish living in Germany probably have direct German heritage. However even if that isnt the case they didnt open the borders to Poland in 2004 as the UK did so didnt experience the immigrant rush as we did.

scumbag tabloid press. Next year they will target Romanians and Bulgarians.

Yup, and the people suck up all that crap. Personally i dont read tabloids, but you dont need papers to witness the immigration issues in the UK, Poles suffer the brunt as they are the most prominant given the numbers and time factors in which they came.

effecting the lives of working class people.

Are you saying that working class people log onto the PF ?

You wont find to many Pole bashers outside of the UK's shores, answer: because millions of them are within our shores

I wonder - would that explanation work for an antisemitism?

If Germany opened their borders to Polish immigration following Poland's EU accession you may have witnessed similar German trolls over forums such as this.

supposition, maybe Germans would have handled better all that immigration/migration issue?

There's a world of difference between critical analysis and blind praise.

No.Polish antisemitism has everything to do with Polish people being backward and ignorant/primitive.It has nothing,I repeat nothing to do with 3.5 million not assimilated Jews living in II RP.No connection whatsoever.

They already did handle it better, by not handling it till 2011.

valid question. I feel the same way about people who come here and then b**ch about everything.

Indeed, but then we can easily assume that if they would have been handling it earlier that would still handled it better regardless. For example by evoking mechanisms which would prevent migrants/immigrants from living of benefits.

Also there other such wee ways to channel and control immigrants or migrants from the EU and which the British gov failed and failing still to implement.

Must be because said gov do not wants to do it! Simples!

valid question. I feel the same way about people who come here and then b**ch about everything.

Because they can!
PF is that kind of side which allows all sorts of bizarre post and posters.

People complain on PF because the British and Poles love to complain. That's one thing they have in common.

I understood that most Polish Jews were quite well assimilated and it was only a minority who decided not to?

I agree that assimilation is very important, if nothing less than to show respect for the nation that took you in.

I wonder if a Chicago Polonist who comes over sometimes, knows more about how modern Poland functions...as compared to any foreigner who lives, works, pays taxes in Poland since many years?

Why come on here if you Don't like Poland or it's people

The truth is that everybody who comes here is somehow fascinated by Poland (and Poles). They love it or hate it but fascination is a fact.

We should`t reject those people.

In some ways that's true. Poland is much bigger than some banana republic with a tourist blog, and much much bigger tha a place where some Americans' ancestors came from. It's a thriving and complex society with (in the cities anyway) and increasingly cosmopolitan population who aren't there just to write about how nice they think pierogi are or how pretty the mountains look.
