SeanBM 35 | 5,797 12 Oct 2008 / #95...did he post something funny...?I don't know, probably because I don't get his sence of humour either.
polishgirltx 12 Oct 2008 / #96there you go... i'd probably spend some time in the uk to get the humor....it took me a while to get an american everyday humor... and no, i do not get plk123's 'knock knock' jokes...haha
Seanus 15 | 19,672 12 Oct 2008 / #97If u want more sophisticated English humour, especially social commentary and analyses of current affairs, try John Bird and John Fortune. They pretend to be certain characters, e.g the latest was an investment banker, and they perform their sketches very cleverly. This is not 4 u lovers of raw, slapstick comedy like Benny Hill but it's possible to like both.
Daisy 3 | 1,224 12 Oct 2008 / #98try John Bird and John FortuneBremner, Bird and Fortune...one of my favourites TV programmesthis is teh clip
Seanus 15 | 19,672 12 Oct 2008 / #99I guess that's Rory Bremner as their style fits his. He was quite funny.I wonder if most Poles would like Alexei Sayle

Arise_St_George 9 | 419 16 Oct 2008 / #103There are some people that try too hard to make people laugh. There's a guy at work that tries too hard to make people laugh but what he says and does most of the time isn't that funny, although many of us force the laughs. The only time I laugh is when he takes the **** out of this muslim guy. The ones that don't try too hard are usually the most humourous.
EraAtlantia 2 | 106 16 Oct 2008 / #104Not a big fan of tommy tiernan, dylan moran is just so effortlessly humorous, his observations are much more clever and unique, tommy gets off on his own comedy to much and throws to much cursing into his delivery, but as with music etc, its all subjective....conan o brien is another comical genius....We also had this guy who was so needy for attention and used a quirky style of humor constantly. It just pissed everyone off and eventually they started telling him to **** off being a prick .....With Ireland as perhaps England, if you aint funny your a nobody. Its all about the gags im afraid....

southern 74 | 7,074 16 Oct 2008 / #108Greece............nil pointsThen look at this. They make fun of a slogan used by a party to win the elections. They sing ''there is a better Greece and we want her.''
EraAtlantia 2 | 106 16 Oct 2008 / #109Again, its the "mockery/carry on" type humor that i never really found that funny, the italians are big on this kind of humor, there's nothing implicit about it.....12 points.
MrMisterMan - | 15 17 Oct 2008 / #110I have never had trouble making any Polish ladies I've known laugh,and I'm British.
EraAtlantia 2 | 106 20 Oct 2008 / #117When someone doesnt get my joke then i just keep explaining it until they get it!! Its all about delivery.
polishgirltx 20 Oct 2008 / #118i just keep explaining it until they get it!!it's even less funny... if you don't get it at the first attempt, fun is gone...
LondonChick 31 | 1,133 20 Oct 2008 / #119All of this analysis.... maybe the poor girl is simply a humourless cow who is hard to please.
gtd 3 | 639 20 Oct 2008 / #120Brits have a lot of pressure to be dryly funny as the myth goes. Most are not. Forced is DEFINITELY not funny, or clever, or charming. I want to smack smarmy little tw@ts who can't complete a sentence without trying to be a comedian.
