the joke

Precisely...................it was a joke....W. understood it as such......once again posters read far too much into a simple post...meant as nothing more than that.

I don't belong to any pack, never was, never led a pack...etc...so how can a message on a board be construed as such? Particularly when there aint a pack on the board....male or....female(?)

well im a normal guy who flirts a little

This was an interesting bit.....so girls.....Wolfie was just coming onto ya...in a very canine way........

its the comments like, you belong in the kitchen, or go get me a beer, or are my clothes washed yet?

I think such comments from guys aren't macho at all. I find such men comparable to babies actually. - yes guys, I'm going straight for your throats as usual! ;p - but seriously, I don't get it, what's so macho about you as a man being unable to do something simple as washing your clothes or cooking? or making comments like ''who's wearing a blouse?'' - joke or not, it just makes you look a little simple :) - sorry!

but really patrycja, I don't know where you live, or how old you are, but around here, you'll find no guy - my age, older men I don't know - who says you belong in the kitchen?

serious, I think some girls should ease in a little on the whole feminism thing. there's still a lot to be changed, but I do want to say that some guys just really do hard work, and that if the girl is a part-timer she should pick up on domestic tasks a little more than the man.

or vice versa. :) that's the only thing I find unreasonable from some girls, they would probably expect me to share the tasks 50-50 - which I wouldn't mind because right now I do everything myself! - but most girls around here work for like 20-30 hours a week, and still tell guys like me we should be able to do more at home.

not generalising alright? fair is fair, you girls here seem a reasonable sort. :)

it was a joke

sorry - didn't find it funny at all.
And I don't want to hear that I have no sense of humour.

The dissenting member = Wolfie’s comment that women are equals.

Actually Wolfie didn't comment that women are equal, he said that women are better than men.
Here is where he received the neutering comment:

Men and woman today are equals in the house and outside as well, women are more better at coping with stress then most men.

Actually I agree with rest of his opinions.

no sense of humour

But it wasn't a joke aimed at you M, so take all the offence you want.........so we all have different opinions...........and thats what they are...only opinions...backed up by what research etc........?

His post seemed to be pandering to the alpha females of the board......thats all.....

it just makes you look a little simple - sorry

Arien...you're not trying to get on my good side...........well I try to keep it simple so you don't feel left out...:)

I wish I had not used your joke to illustrate my argument. I was trying to illustrate my argument, and I forgot how it might affect you, Frank. I can sometimes get lost in my ideas and forget the impact on people. I did not mean to express any disrespect towards your opinion. And I don't agree with the insults you are getting. I do feel responsible for what is happening.

Syrena........no problem....its a message board.....getting info etc.......for exchanges of ideas and opinions, we won't always agree with every thing everyone says.......

It aint anything to worked up about.......chill....:)

but really patrycja, I don't know where you live, or how old you are, but around here, you'll find no guy - my age, older men I don't know - who says you belong in the kitchen

I live in the USA, and I am 40.

MY very first relationship was with a 28 year old, I was 18.
we didnt have any children together, I moved out to live with him (stupid) and his
three kids.

for the first 5 years of my young adulthood I cooked, Cleaned, and took care of his
kids. after 5 years and going no where, but playing house, I snapped!
packed up my clothes sucked in my pride and moved back home.
Oops and took my cat "mischief" back with me too.

only thing good that I had out of that relationship was the fact that his children
loved me and said to this day, i was the best mom they ever had, he went thru
a few more "moms" for his kids, and he still is a sad case.

During that relationship, I could not work "cause who would care for the kids"?
it was like I was a ready made mom stuck. why I let it happen so long, well I guess
cause his children needed me more then their dad who was never around.

So why do women get to be the way they are? "experiences" what dont kill us only
makes us stronger type.

Heres an Example of a complete idiot of a father: I went to my moms to get food, because he used all the food stamps that he got from the state to buy drugs.

I didnt know he did this, he said he would come home in a while, well that led
to coming home at 3 am in the morning when we were all sleeping.
my mom had made some nice lasagna dinner, so we took it home, well later on
the piece that she gave to my ex-boyfriend, we all ate it, cause all of us were hungry
so I promised them I would go back to Grandmas in the morn for more. and that
their dad would be home soon.
so he comes in all drugged up on Whatever it was, like a madman, pulls me out of
bed by my hair, and asked me where his food was? while yelling at me and calling
me all kinds of names, wakes the kids, I am not a good person to wake up.

So as hes doing all this, I grabbed my hair out of his hands, push him back a few feet
and came at him with the same force!

now, how on earth can this be justified? it cant, there was no excuse for his behavior
to drag me out of bed for food that he couldnt provide.

and this isnt one person, there is more like him out there.

going back to my posts on why I hate skinheads. these guys act like women are
their slaves. she has to cook, clean, wipe his arse, etc etc the list goes on.
she cant see her family ,she cant do any work outside the home unless he says so
type guys who make me sick.

The only things I can say is, Arien, its good to know that Men are doing their fair
share, because the theory of "Im getting married, so now I dont have to do it"
is all Wrong "not saying you said that" but alot of men do get this impression that
once they marry, they dont have to wash their own things anymore.

and I do hear that alot of men say that they want a Polish wife because they
cook good, and take care of the house good, well this is true, but, this is 2006
and most women and men have to work -both to keep their home stable.
so whether she s polish , english, southern, whatever- the bottom line is, its
a two sided relationship and both have to work together at it.

This is how I feel personally.

but really patrycja, I don't know where you live, or how old you are, but around here, you'll find no guy - my age, older men I don't know - who says you belong in the kitchen?

Another thing I might want to add to this is, maybe in europe things might be
different. I know that one of the girls I work with, she married a English gentleman
and says she dont know what she would do without him.

she says he helps with her son, hes a hard worker, he does the housework when
he is off work, not that their home is messy, but he keeps it straightened.

he supports her in everything. as she does him, and she did live in the UK for little
over a year, and said it was hard to adjust. she wanted to come back to the
US and so he stayed there till his paperwork was all set 13 months! and he moved
here to the united states and he loves it.

both are very happy and she says, oh we will go see his family as much as possible,
so this might be why I think that way about europe.

I do agree, there is more respect in some cultures then in others.
and many are taught to learn to fend for themselfs. <~something every mother
should teach.

Arien...you're not trying to get on my good side...........well I try to keep it simple so you don't feel left out...

just saying jokes like that are usually made by simpletons? you don't seem to take constructive - which was aimed at general ''masculine'' behaviour! - criticism lightly do you? and that jokes such as those are usually made by ''alpha'' male type to make guys who actually try to help their women in any way they can - like a real man should! - look small when it comes to a open discussion. :)

just my honest opinion, I felt like stressing once more that comments from the ''who's wearing the skirts'' variety aren't helpful and don't make you look like a big man or masculine in any way. - not saying anything you were actually serious or anything else by that! -

as for simple,

:)

in other words, study dutch for a year and you still don't understand the half of what I've just said. but then again, intelligence isn't exactly measured by someone's linguistic ability? :)

chill. :)

so back to our discussion, I have said how I think about modern day women. so it's only fair to ask what women think of modern day men? honest opinions!

You do know how to make a pseudo alpha male feel good dont ya....lol...you're reading way too much into this.........does Wolfie seem bothered???....it seems you are...on his behalf.

Define a "real man"..........lol......no such thing.......just an urban myth........arrived at by the press...and latched onto...by the gullible!

And too think I've not said a thing to contradict what or how a modern women should act or do.......!!

Fortunately...I won't ever be learning Dutch.......coulda swore this was an English message board.

I am? well, I never mentioned YOUR name and still you assume I was talking to you specifically? - reading too much into what? - don't get so worked up everytime alright? it's just how I engage in discussions.

coulda swore this was an English message board.

english - polish. you thought it was okay to hurl insults. so I demonstrated that maybe I sound a little simple in english? it sometimes seems I might aswell speak spanish to you but no matter. :)

anyway, that was my opinion, you have yours. end of story? :)

so back to our discussion, I have said how I think about modern day women. so it's only fair to ask what women think of modern day men? honest opinions!

really interested if the women ''have balls''. :) :)
