Travel / Age requirements when going out to clubs in Poland [13]

you should be alright with your 18+ card. I'm pretty sure that if some dumb huard sees some shinny object all with foreign words he'll just let you in in order not to look dumb xD

But I must say that I've never seen anybody checking IDs here in Wroclaw.
Some Bartander may wanna have a look at your id but thats about it.

Language / Polish language for Children [13]

telefonitika

Try getting them books (they can be bought with tapes to listen to)
that polish kids use to learn their first steps.

We call them "Czytanka" (the plural is Czytanki)

Those kids of books cover all basics, letters and reading.

I'm sure you should be able to find something on ebay or try polish allegro.pl and find an auction with shipment abroad.

Law / What do Poles think of Chinese products? [49]

I am James from China. My company is the voip prodcut manufacture in China. And we realy would like to develop Poland market.

Chinese products are bluntly put - SH*T. They look ok when you buy them but they start breaking a week from the date you bought them!

Their quality is clearly inferior, plus I prefer to buy european and polish products rather then give my money to chinese... Yes I know I'm awful like that!

UK, Ireland / Polls for Poles in the UK [178]

I wont believe that someone admited on tv that he or she is a nazi.
simply because over here for beeing part of nazi or communist movement/organisation/whatever you do time in jail.

there are idiots who call themselves Nazis. But 5 retards dont have impact on a 40mln nation and we cant be hold responsible for them. And I'm sure there are movements like that in UK/US as well.

But beeing in an organization like that in PL and admiting in on tele... its just stupid.

Love / Advice from the guys? English met a Polish guy. [40]

If the guy was upset how the things went him might just put you in that taxi and leave it be.
But instead he "took care" of you. So heads up. Next time more cake less vodka!

although I do admit that if a girl gets p*ssed like that on the first date...
lets just say its not the way to show your best side.

UK, Ireland / Polls for Poles in the UK [178]

tornado2007

First of all its not backwarded. I'm actualy amused to see you making a thread like that since I thought you would be a lot better informed and open minded.

we have polling stations in the UK for Polish people to vote for the elections in Poland.

Well its called european union. Imigrants from UE who stay in another UE country for a longer period of time have the right to vote there. It's the same with british who come to Poland so stop whining.

I'm not sure what it is like in the US

once again. I dont see what US has to do with this issue since Us is not in UE.

Tihs is so backwards its un believable

why is that so? it's a part of the UE which brits cherish so much.

using British tax payers money to organise something

NO! you are missinformed again. It's paid by polish government. Like the polls for brits in Poland are beeing paid of by yours gov.

i have probably missed some points and lack a few facts

yes and clearly didnt have enough time to think about it. every other european union
nation has to same right so I dont get your point.

simple, if you cared that much you would be in Poland to vote and care for your country, if not then forget it :)

just wow:) so you're showing your real face here or what?
so what about all the germans, french and english who live in Poland they shouldnt be alowed to vote because of someones biggotry?

Food / Polish Christmas table [26]

I myself love all sorts of fish so when xmas come, I eat carp in excess.
Although I think what the problem might be, It's a bit like with lamb...
you need to know which carp is proper to prepare and how to do it so it tastes great cuz if made by a bad cook it can taste like gum.
